KENNEDY ROAD STAKES GRADE 2

1. Dixie’s Gamble- Luis Contreras- Josie Carroll
   1. In a Race full of horses that have been defeated by Pink Lloyd, this one is a contender out of that group. He is going to be sitting comfortably on the rail with Contreras aboard and could make a run by saving up enough ground on the rail. The one race out of the last four that didn’t involve Pink Lloyd he did win, so maybe Pink Lloyd is his real kryptonite. 
2. Extravagant Kid- Rafael Hernandez- Brendan Walsh
   1. I like Extravagant Kid a lot here in this spot. He has two seconds in two starts over the surface and the most recent second was to Pink Lloyd but only by a length. He seems like he can be a little bit of a hanger but I think if Pink Lloyd isn’t the same horse as before, that Extravagant Kid is next up. 
3. Reconfigure- Kazushi Kimura- Robert Tiller
   1. Usually a rabbit is a lone speed horse but i think, Robert Tiller is putting in a horse that usually comes right off the pace, but today I think, Kimura will be sending to set up a clean trip for Tiller’s prized horse in Pink Lloyd. He is outclassed here but possible chance to get loose on the lead. 
4. Richiesinthehouse- Patrick Husbands- Larry Rivelli
   1. Richiesinthehouse should be the speed today as well as a classy horse. I can see this one actually holding off Pink Lloyd if no one contests him early. He is a very consistent horse and seems to just find the winner’s circle time after time. LEGIT contender. 
5. Boreal Spirit- Gary Boulanger- Jennifer Shafer
   1. Not a fan of this fella at all. Seems to like turf more and seems to be outclassed. The last two races he has run it almost seems as if he is sore or lame in certain areas. He has shown no interest in the last two attempts and I hope he possibly shows up today even though it won’t affect the race much either way.
6. Pink Lloyd- Eurico Rosa Da Silva- Robert Tiller
   1. Pink Lloyd is the best horse from Canada in years and one of the most consistent I have ever seen. He ran bad last time out but was declared a non-starter. Before that he won 5 in a row at stakes company. He has beaten a few in here already and some of those few multiple times. I see this horse only getting in his own way which is a rarity.
7. O’Kratos- Justin Stein- Darwin Banach
   1. O’Kratos can barely win in ALW races and I think he is only here because the connections want to try and get some extra purse money. He did win a stake back in May of 2018 so he has done the job before but I think his best days are behind him.
8. Malibu Secret- Emma-Jayne Wilson- Martin Drexler
   1. I think this guy is finally rounding into form under the new connections. However, this is an ALW or AOC race and he is facing Pink Lloyd and Extravagant Kid as serious contenders. I can see him possibly making a run for 3rd or 4th if he runs to his recent form.
9. Eskiminzin- Jeffrey Ian Alderson- Carlos Grant
   1. This horse might be last in this field. He can’t even win an ALW at Fort Erie and now the connections want to bring him into this Grade 2. Along with the outside post and no real speed in his form, I don’t think he can make much of an impact today. 

I think the real contenders are #2 Extravagant Kid, #4 Richiesinthehouse and #6 Pink Lloyd. Underneath those top choices I think #3 Reconfigure and #1 Dixie’s Gamble has legit chances. Not much speed but I think it can set up for Pink Lloyd again as usual.
