1 – 7 Furlongs. ‘Mdn 70k Purse $70,000 FOR MAIDENS, FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD FOALED IN NEW YORK STATE

5-1-3

It’s obvious that Clever Fellow has encountered health problems in his career, with just two races lifetime and with ample separation between races. But he has talent, and if Chad Brown has stayed with him and doesn’t drop him for a tag, its because he thinks he can do well in his return race. Neuro stumbled out of the gate in his most recent, before that he has races good enough to win in here. Devil’s Code goes second time out now under Michael Miceli’s training, he can be a nice upset in the opener.

2 – 6 Furlongs. Clm 16000n2L Purse $28,000 FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES.

6-2-1

Second time with trainer Rob Atras for Number One Dillon, and he hits at 30%. Should be the first one to consider. Cohiba Ghost was scratched by the vet in a race in which I loved him. There is the unknown of how well he is health wise, and with a very slow work in preparation, doubts remain. David’s Gem can be the hidden gem here, sporting blinkers for the first time, can be long gone up front.

3 – 6 Furlongs. ™MC 25000 Purse $33,000 FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES THREE YEARS OLD.

1/1A-2/2B-7

In a race in which we can’t dismiss anyone, both entries give you the 2X1 value. Streetcar Jones and Tourist Attraction seem to be the best of each entry. Watch out for Stoneharbor Blonde, can be the speediest here and wire this field.  I recommend spreading in horizontals.

4 – 6 Furlongs. Clm 50000 Purse $65,000 (UP TO $11,310 NYSBFOA) FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD.

3-5-6

Sneakiness has a clear affinity with Aqueduct and the race sets up well for him, in a race with ample speed signed in. Cancel with the ride. Reed Kan and Happy Farm are the best from the rest, both will be forwardly placed and have excellent chance.

5 – 6 Furlongs. Clm 16000n2L Purse $28,000 FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES.

3-2-5

Him She Kisses looks very solid in this start of the late pick 5. This is his second race after a long layoff and with trainer Linda Rice, who scores at a 28% clip. Probable single here. Posse Can Disco hated the mud last time out, with a dry surface he will be part of that first flight and should rebound. Trapezze Artist is the one that can lighten up the toteboard, his dirt tries have been the best races of his career.

6 – 6 Furlongs. ‘MC 40000 Purse $43,000 FOR MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD FOALED IN NEW YORK STATE

1-6-4

Kikkerland goes second time and should improve of a debut in which he had some trouble at the start. Carmouche stays aboard. What’s My Category just missed last time out in a similar group and no doubt he needs to be considered a top candidate here. First time starter Got the Gold doesn’t need to be anything special to score right off the bench.

7 – 7 Furlongs. ™‘Alw 72000n1x Purse $72,000 FOR FILLIES AND MARES FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD FOALED IN NEW YORK STATE

3-6-4

Very difficult race here. Ellarella is quick and has been holding her own in this same group, as well as IfIhadachance, with red hot Manny Franco. Mable Island has the speed figures, but is taking a step up in class. I recommend spreading in horizontals.

8 – 1 1/8 Mile. Withers-G3 Withers S. Grade III. Purse $250,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS.

7-5-2

Donegal Bay looked very good in breaking his maiden, and Pletcher sends him to this Grade III, a sign of extreme confidence. Risk Taking won his maiden on August and returns in this very tough Grade III, definitely is worth a close look. Royal Number is shipping from Laurel, and those generally do good here at the Big A.

9 – 6½ Furlongs. Clm 8000 Purse $22,000 FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD.

2-3-5

Earned Success is another one that looks extremely tough to beat, if he repeats anything of what he has done lately. He should be forwardly placed in a race in which there is not much speed on paper. O Shea Can U See needs pace to run against, I am not sure he will get it, but cant be overlooked. Abbaa can be long gone if his jockey sends him right off the gate to the lead. Dangerous.
