Here we go for last Friday at the Keeneland meet looks like a great card let’s get on the bus and make some money.
Race 1
8-5-4-9
8- Roman City- not much in the opener is this young Philly strives to get that first win of her short career. Her first two races on the turf were not bad and should graduate with this big drop down in class. There aren’t many in here that have shown the ability to race and Roman city should be able to capitalize on this week field.
Race 2
3-5-2-1
3- Tres Equis – here’s a very consistent four-year-old that is looking for another win to add to his Resume. If you look at the race three lines down at Ellis Park it was very cool high-quality race in which he got the lead and kept going and I’m looking for the same thing here. He is also one of the few that have won over this track and has a fairly good stats at this distance.
Race 3
5-8-4-2
5- Red Again- what are my top picks for today is this horse knows how to win and I think this field is fairly weak. He has done well in the past of short Laos and I’m looking for the same today. If you notice his last layoff from November 2018 to February 2019 he came back one big with a nice bead figure. Only a few workouts to look at but the one on October 5 at Ellis Park was quality.
Race 4
6-3-1-2
6- Commissario- it’s a very tough race there’s a lot of high quality stable sending out first time starters for a price of $50,000. This is always been interesting to me as I can’t figure out why high-quality stables with a nice bread horse that has good workouts starts out for $50,000 or in fact any claiming race but I guess you have to look at maximum-security at the same point and shake your head. I like the connections on this horse I like the works and I like the fact that they draw top Kentucky rider for his initial start.
Race 5
10-3-4-6
10- Ella Brilla- it should be a nice race to handicap and to wager on as there’s nothing that really stands out. The tote board should send signals as to which one of these young Fillies can run this distance on the lawn. Trainer lynch sent this girl out first time at Belmont as the favourite and did not have the best luck in her initial start. Add Lasix second time out and should love the distance based on her breeding.
Race 6
6-7-8-2
6- Lngtermrelationshp- this guy goes first off a claim for a trainer that hits 27% with this angle. Seems like every horse in this race is first off a claim but I like the way this guy races in the slight increase in Class should not be a problem. He is very consistent and should like the distance in the track.
Race 7
7-3-1-9
7- We the Clouds- should get some value here on this first time starter, I love the workouts and they all stand out. The writer has had a slow meet which will lead to better value on this two-year-old that looks to have ultra speed.
Race 8
7-4-3-2
7- Secret Stash- here’s another that I really like today where you should get some value. That last race at Woodbine against some tough two-year-olds was very nice considering she was steadied early and the track was very soft. Gets first time Lasix for her second start in North America which is a positive sign with this training.
Race 9
6-5-9-11
6- FunFinder- I think there’s lots to like here for this three-year-old, a race to back at Ellis Park jumps off the page for me as it was very nice race with a quality speed figure. I think her last race was too short and now she gets to stretch out a bit and should be right there at the end. Looking for amazing value here as I See her going off above 10 to 1.
Race 10
5-3-9-1
5- Hierarchy- Great bearing race to finish off the card and I like this guy offers last few races. I think the distance should do him well as he should be closer to the pace than he usually is off that seven for a long turf race at Kentucky downs. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a horse that has a more consistent speed figures as over his last dozen races they’ve only varied by nine points. Was saying that they are very comparable to the rest of the field.
Enjoy the fall day at Keeneland and I look forward to Churchill.
