Thanks for checking out today’s analysis.  Aside from this weekly article I offer daily free full card picks for Gulfstream Park as well as other tracks.  Give me a follow on Twitter @mhjpicks.  Saturday’s Gulfstream Park card offers us 12 puzzles to solve in search of the Rainbow 6 Mandatory Payout.  Let’s get some winners!

Race 1

Nice full field to kick off the day at GP.  #9  Laura Speed will need a bump, but should improve dropping in class for Joseph (31%), switching to turf (18%) and first time at a route (22%). Hope to see this one get involved early.#4 Con Permiso is getting closer to the winners circle each race and has been close at this level and is the likely favorite.  #6 Uncle Fun is dropping in class off a bullet work.

A (Must Use): 9-4-6

B (Consider): 5

Race 2

A lot of similar horses here in this race.  #4 Iberico is off a couple of bad races, but takes a plunge and appears to have worked out any issues with solid works.  Prior to those races this horse had figures that will dominate the group.  #3 Magnilia Blvd drops slightly and has shown to be a better sprinter after a poor route race.  #6 Congrats That, also a dropper, is the likely pace and has the ability to hold on despite a couple of recent fails.

A (Must Use): 4-3-6

B (Consider): 7-5

Race 3

#2 Gran Etiqueta hated the turf and gets back to dirt. Should be forwardly placed and set for a nice surprise effort.  His last race was the anomaly and she should get back in form. #5 Dana Grace is a dropper who always seems to be close.  She has been in the exacta the last four races.  #6 Adonai Bless is a twice beaten favorite bumping up.  She does have enough speed to be a factor.

A (Must Use): 2-5-3

B (Consider): 4

Race 4

#6 Audrey is a huge dropper with figures well above the others which should translate to a win. Her figures are superior to the group even despite poor placings.  #3 Kirby is a good second option for Zerpa first off the claim who is 38% with horses in their second race. I expect a big jump forward today. #4 Dial A Lady is improving and gets an upgrade in the saddle to Zayas.  Classic Sano placement

A (Must Use): 6-3

B (Consider): 4-1

Race 5

A race with an opportunity for chaos is well meant for #5 Choas Kid for Delgado (20%) who gets a weight advantage which could give the edge at a nice price. Another who could be the only real closer is my top choice #1 Sir Hoski who could come late into what should be a lot of pace. His speed figures are competitive and with another conditioner he would have more respect in the ML.  #8 Vincitore is a twice beaten favorite with the figs to be competitive. Roussel continues to have  good meet.

A (Must Use): 1-5-8

B (Consider): 6-4

Race 6

Great 2YO race.  #2 Zuriel is off a strong bullet work for a new site performing well with first timers.  #3 Hercules is also off a bullet out of a productive dam. #7 Julius the Great is out of a speedy sire who does well with first timers. #4 Callsomeonewhoncares goes for Nicks who is 20% for 2 YO.

A (Must Use): 2-3-7-4

B (Consider): 5

Race 7

Mandatory payout starts here with the lowest level claimer.  #11 Luxe Diamond has her work cut out for her far outside. New trainer Morzan has something going and that could give the edge here. #6 Ima Daredevil is better on dirt and a repeat of the effort two back would be dominant. #1 Itsmyluckygirl will likely send from the rail but could ride the pocket too.

A (Must Use): 11-6-1

B (Consider): 2-5-3

Race 8

First stakes race the Proud Man for 2YOs. The logical is the ML favorite #7 Fulmini stretches out (19%) off the maiden for Maker and will be involved early.  Race is his to win or lose. #8 Boca Boy moves to grass after some sloppy races and ran well including a stakes race. Could translate to a big effort today.

A (Must Use): 7-8

B (Consider): 5-1

Race 9

The Florida Sire Susan’s Girl should be a great race despite the small field. #5 Princess Secret has a never been out of the exacta and has some heart to push through the pace. #1 Freak will be sitting just off but I worry distance is too much. #3 Alluramore is a maiden who is obviously thought highly of to be entered aggressively.  #4 Go Jo Jo Go had a big closing effort last out and could repeat.

A (Must Use): 5-1-3-4

B (Consider): 6

Race 10

The Sharp Susan should be dominated by #5 Spanish Loveaffair who crushed the field on debut at the trip.  Should be tough today again for Casse. #4 Director’s Cut improved last out at the trip to get the maiden win and could be ready for another.  #2 Can’t Buy Love goes for The always dangerous on turf for Maker.

A (Must Use): 5-4

B (Consider): 2-9

Race 11

The final stakes, the 200k Affirmed will also have a tough and strong favorite.  #4 Big Daddy Dave stretches off the big maiden win.  He was very strong and should improve today for Nicks/Zayas.  #6 Breeze on By could very well do that today. He has won both starts in front running fashion.  #1 Gatsby ran second to the Ml favorite off a poor G3 outing.  Being on firm footing should help him move forward.#5 Seazan would need a jump but has a chance to upset the group.

A (Must Use): 4-6-1

B (Consider): 5

Race 12

#11 Extra Extra will go for the lead and class drop should help him last.  Always good to have a front-runner in your multis.  #7 Policy Option is a former Chad Brown horse for Joseph will be a factor late after winning on the class drop.

A (Must Use): 11-7-6

B (Consider): 4-8-9
