2nd) 5-1
3rd) 4-5-2-3
4th) 5-4-3-2-8
5th) 4-8-6
6th) 2-7-4-5
7th) 3-2-4-1-6…. # 3 Bourbon Country- Closer would love to see a speed duel to set up late kick. # 2 Be Gone Daddy- another strong closer. If he gets some pace will be flying late. # 4 Vincero- dangerous speed for Navarro. Never missed the board at the track, distance or on a fast surface. Tough if gets an easy lead. # 1 Won the Case- improved every race. Been off 7 months for a trainer that usually has them ready. # 6 Zippy Willy- Just broke maiden & claimed off of Pletcher has shown good speed in prior races.
8th) 2-6…. # 2 Pay Any Price- speed & class, breaks well and could be gone. # 6 Oak Bluffs- the other class but a stone cold closer. 3rd off and if front runners melt he could win.
9th) 1-7-2-5-4-9-10-…. # 1 Cerrado- is 3rd off layoff, faced better at Woodbine and could get a great trip. # 7 Traffic Stop- 1st timer with Maker and J. Ortiz riding no champs in this race. # 2 Direct Approach- showed speed in last start. I. Ortiz aboard and will try same tactics. # 5 Am Prepared- ran ok in debut by More Than Ready, johnny v on and can win. # 4 Roddick- trying turf 1st time with fast works he will be part of the pace and maybe more. # 9 Allegiance- 3rd off layoff and race 2 back could win this. # 10 Hillsdown- 3rd off and his 2 turf races have been ok. A good trip from the outside post will help chances.
10th) 3-8-1-9…. # 3 Overzealous- like’s track and distance. A fast pace will have him coming late to take it all. # 8 High Flying Guy- 6 for 7 at GP in the $ but never won and 7 for 8 in the $ at the distance but only won once. Fires every time. # 1 Kelly Tough- trainer 25% after 1st claim and 31% with beaten fave last out. Will be sending hard from the rail and could wire. # 9 Mr. Pinocchio- dropping and turf to dirt for Biancone maybe the surface distance wakes him up and he fires hard as a bomb.
11th) 15-12-8-6-11-7…. # 15 Giant Run- If he draw’s in would be super tough. # 12 Biloxi Bay- 3rd off for a real good trainer & Jockey. Enough speed in here to ensure a hot pace and set up his kick. # 8 Baltic Art- can go early or come late. 3rd off layoff and will be tough. # 6 Tipsy Kitten– Fawkes trained, bullet work and has run well off of layoffs in the past. # 11 Black Sea- 2nd off layoff Canadian has faced better and run well over the GP sod in the past. # 7 Major Attitude- could shock for a good trainer. If he does fire look for him coming from way back late if at all.
12th) 12-5-6-15…. # 12 Tracy With a Y- back to turf and dropping will be tough. # 5 Perfect Beam- has run a few ok races and maybe that will be good enough. # 6 Royal Family- $350,000 purchase is in for $ 20,000. Chad Brown trained but red flags out everywhere with this one. Why would they give him away? Has to have many physical problems but still might win if he runs. # 15 Just Kitten You- 3rd off and if he draws in will be tough for the connections of Maker , Ramsey & Ortiz.
