Gulfstream Park Racing Analysis- Friday Feb 1, 2019- By David Pyrz

                                                        Gulfstream 2-1-19

Handicapping for some moisture in the track and turf but hoping they stay on the grass.

  1. 7-5…. # 7 Heza Kitten- is 3rd off with Luis Saez aboard and can be up front and dangerous to take it all. # 5 Rumson Rally- is dropping for a trainer who has some success 2nd off layoff.
  2. 3-7…. # 3 Fast Pass- ran a decent race in last start and looks ready to roll under Peter Walder. # 7 Chatiment- is another Horse that Saez is riding and this one could be dangerous speed as well.
  3. 4…. # 4 Felon- will take a chance and single him. Vasquez aboard and ran ok last race. 1 for 2 on the grass and hope a win happens tomorrow.
  4. 8…. # 8 Das Da One- is another single early on. Dropping, has some tactical speed and hoping can kick home in stretch.
  5. 7-4…. # 7 Tap Tap Taparoo- could have won last time and was steadied hard. Gaffalione aboard and Toner wins 18% 2nd off layoff. # 4- Conquest Tizfire- Big drop,  J Ortiz aboard runs for a better trainer then #s show. Will be in the $.
  6. 7-3…. # 7 Joe Di Baggio- Drop, Turf to Dirt, Bullet work a few days ago and running for Gold. Will be tough. # 3- Taylorsinitiation- 1st start for red hot Saffie barn. !st Lasix , 1st on dirt, have to use.
  7. 5-7…. # 5 Honey Won’t- Dropping for Mott and will be super tough here. # 7 Seanmisean-is 3rd off where trainer wins 21% of time and Irad Ortiz is aboard.
  8. 7-6…. # 7 Noncents- is dropping, turf to dirt and has shown she can handle dirt. # 6 Mertz- irad Ortiz aboard and has dangerous speed where she could wire the field.
  9. 5-9…. # 5 Shall Return- is returning with Irad Ortiz up. Back to turf where she easily broke her maiden. A repeat of that race can win this. # 5 Bourbon n. Ditch- Drops 1st time into claiming, good works and drawn on outside will keep her out of trouble.
  10. 3…. # 3 Fergielicious- might look G L A M O R O U S in the winner’s circle photo after this race. Again we land on an Ortiz horse here with a good work and a little moisture in the track we will single this 5 yo mare.
  11. 1-5….. # 1 Mr. Pinocchio- trained by Biancone on the rail and has ok speed to get in great position. Hoping can get up and win at a very nice price. # 5 Four Knights- Dropper for a trainer and jockey who win often together or at least always put in a big run. Can come off the pace or be up near the front early. Very dangerous tomorrow.
