Race 1 – 8F Maiden CLM 12,500

#3 Autism’s Quest (5/2) comes in off back to back 2nd place finishes. Should be coming from just off the pace under Catalino Martinez.

#4 Salsa Verde (2/1) ships in from Southern California and is dropping in class with jockey Billy Antongeorgi III.

3-2-4

Race 2 – 8F CLM 3,200

#4 Moon Rocket (9/5) won in wire to wire fashion last out defeating My Idol. Could get away again today with a lack of speed in this field.

#1 My Idol (8/5) might sit a little closer to the pace than last out. Will be running well late under Alejandro Gomez.

#3 Stormy Mist (8/1) has been in the money 11/20 on the tapeta.

4-1-3

Race 3 – 5.5F CLM 12,500

#1 Vastly Deep (8/5) comes in off an impressive win last out at this level over Trump Um. Should be the one to beat.

#4 Desert Dude (3/1) ran the first four races at Golden Gate on the tapeta before trying the turf at Santa Anita last out. Dropping in class for Isidro Tamayo, Juan Hernandez should have this one close up.

#2 Cajon Bettor (7/2) is dropping in class for a Faith Taylor and rider Anne Sanguinetti. Has competitive numbers racing against better.

1-4-2

Race 4 – 5.5 Maiden CLM 25,000

#3 El Centenario (3/1) is cutting back to a sprint after routing the last two. Juan Hernandez should have this Jonathan Wong (29%) runner in a good position.

#9 Awesome Dude (7/2) just missed at this level three races back. Dropping back in for the tag should help.

#2 Known (10/1) closed well late for 3rd last out. Should be rolling late, like at a price.

3-9-2

Race 5 – 8F CLM 5,000

#6 Candy’s Martini (8/5) finished 2nd last out after setting fast early fractions. Should sit a better trip today from the outside under Silvio Amador.

#3 My Friend George (7/2) was a winner last out. Monroy should have this one off the pace and rolling late.

#5 Monsajem Pervade (2/1) is dropping in class for Isidro Tamayo. Could benefit from a good pace set up and positioning from Billy Antongeorgi III.

6-3-5

Race 6 – 5.5F Maiden CLM 8,000

#4 Enchanting Eva (2/1) has finished 2nd as a beaten favorite in the last 4 starts. Has good early speed and Catalino Martinez might try to get away up front.

#6 Breaking the Code (8/5) closed well for a 2nd place finish last out at this level. Should be sitting just off the pace.

#2 Sarah’s Smirk (9/5) has not raced since July 2019. Should be competitive but might need this race off the layoff.

4-6-2

Race 7 – 8F CLM 6,250

#1 Miss Indefatigable (8/5) was a beaten favorite last out. Likes to be on the lead and should be sent early from the inside post by Rico Gonzalez.

#2 Loretta (5/2) has been competitive against Miss Indefatigable the last two starts. Expect to be close to the pace.

#5 American Royalty (8/1) was 2nd at this level last out. Will benefit from a contentious pace.

1-2-5

Race 8 – 8.5F CLM 12,500

#4 Pacific Strike (3/1) has been in the money 7 straight starts. Kevin Krigger should have this one rolling late.

#6 Playa Chica (8/5) ships in from Southern California for trainer Andrew Lerner. Has not raced on tapeta and has not shown much the last couple starts. Class drop will help.

#3 Jaimi James (8/1) won at this level two races back. Should be in a good position just off the pace.

4-6-3
