Race 1 – 6F Maiden CLM 8,000

#2 Miss Lily Pad (5/2) has set the pace the last three starts going two turns, expect Rico Gonzalez to have this one forwardly placed in this sprint. #3 What A Flirt (6/1) comes in to this race with 12 2nd place finishes in 24 starts, still looking for the maiden breaking victory. Should have a good pace set up and come rolling late under Frank Alvarado. #4 Lydia O Lydia (2/1) set the pace last out under soft early fractions and held for 2nd. Should be close up.

Race 2 – 1 Mile CLM 5,000

#4 Norwegian (8/5) comes in first off the claim for trainer Jonathan Wong (23% meet, 30% 1st off claim). Has two wins and a second in four starts on the tapeta. #2 Fruitfully (9/5) has won two of the last three starts. Should be sitting back and rolling late under Francisco Monroy. #6 Tiz Always Music (6/1) was close to the pace before clipping heels and losing riser Billy Antongeorgi III last out. Expect to show speed and be in a good position from the outside post.

Race 3 – 6F Maiden CLM 25,000

#8 Thatsabadboy (4/1) is dropping from maiden special weight and cutting back from two turns to a sprint. Has a bullet work (1 of 7) coming in, expect improvement. #2 Mister McLean (9/5) dueled last out before tiring for 2nd. Expect to be on the front from the inside. #5 Big Perm (3/1) is a first time starter for Jonathan Wong and Juan Hernandez. Has to be considered.

Race 4 – 1 Mile ALW 33,000

#5 Blue Diva (7/5) is the one to beat coming out of the grade 3 Astra at Santa Anita. Two and three races back won consecutively at Golden Gate including a $50K stakes. Four wins in ten starts on the tapeta. #4 Qafilah (3/1) likes to be up front and could try to get away from this small field. Finished 4th behind Blue Diva two back. #3 Vronilla Parfait (6/1) has been in the money 19/24 on the tapeta. Should be rolling late under Frank Alvarado. Beaten just a length total in the past two starts.

Race 5 – 5.5F CLM 5,000

#4 Circulodegandoras (9/2) closed well in a win last out. Two wins and two places the last four starts since Alejandro Gomez started riding. #1 Prorika (2/1) has been in the money 7/15 on the tapeta. Has been more successful closer to the pace, expect to be sent from the inside post. #6 Ramoncita Light (9/2) has two wins from 5 lifetime races. Brayan Pena back aboard after riding to a win two starts back.

Race 6 – 1 Mile ALW 12,500

#4 Premium Forest (3/1) will be sitting off the pace and making a late run. 10 wins in 24 starts including 5/12 on the tapeta. #6 Bam Bam Bryan (8/5) likes to be on the lead but could have some early company up front from La Wuan. In the money in all six starts at Golden Gate, will be tough. #1 Shot of a Lifetime (5/2) comes in for trainer Ellen Jackson. Has very competitive numbers here.

Race 7 – 1 Mile CLM 12,500

#4 Sweet Boy (2/1) has good early speed and could get away from this field. Has three wins in four starts at Golden Gate. #5 Mahi Mahi (8/5) is shipping in from Santa Anita for trainer Jonathan Wong. Expect improvement on the class drop.  #2 Dirt Road Red (4/1) has closed well in the last two starts, expect to be rolling late under Francisco Monroy. In the money 7/10 lifetime.
