Race 1.
2- MRS. DANVERS- should really appreciate the class relief here today. Looks very tough in this spot.
1- SAY MOI- looks like a likely contender here but the rider of the top pick rode this one and the top pick last out and since he decided to ride that one he kind of made the choice between these top two for me. He if wound up riding this one I probably may have flip flopped these two.
4- looks best of the three remaining runners here.
Race 2.
***3- HONEY PANTS- I am a little baffled by this gal running on dirt in debut considering the barn she is in. Coming from CC barn you wouldn’t expect the horse to need a race but maybe that is the case? Whatever the case may be I think today is the day. She has an okay pedigree for turf and surely comes from an outstanding turf outfit so to me it’s not a stretch to think she is in a spot she is capable of winning.
2- SO ENCHANTING- Looks like the horse to beat in here for sure off the debut run. Not much needs to be said for her after the last if she just runs the same but she will likely improve off of that race.
7- AMALFI PRINCESS- Barn thinks highly of this one and put her in a grade 2 off the debut run and she proved they are on the right track with her based on the grade 2 result and also her speed fig from that race.
6- MUN LUV- If this race runs to it’s potential, I think going four deep in here is aa good idea. Surely not a crazy thought especially in multiple race bets.
Race 3.
3- FED FUNDS- Class drop and the drop in class should do the trick. Looking very good in this spot and I think there may even be some value here. Will be very tough here.
5- SIENA MAGIC- The main competitor in here. very sharp in return from the break. Hard to have too much confidence based on all the breaks between races. Move to a new barn and getting gelded adds to the intrigue. Should give a very good account of himself in this spot.
6- WICKSTERS DREAM- Pretty much a similar reasoning as the one just to his inside
Race 4.
1- WINDFALL PROFIT- She is in good form and just feels like the right one. A case can be made for almost every runner in here so just tread lightly would be my advice.
3- EYE OF THE SOLDIER- Next best guess.
7- CAPITAL STRUCTURE- Another with a good case in here.
6- CRYSTALLE- I can see moving this gal all the way to the top slot if she just needed her return run last out. Has run very well against much better in past races last year. They thought she was good enough to give the BC a shot with her.
Race 5.
3- EVVIE JETS- Will be very tough here with a repeat of her last where she outran her odds by quite a bit. Missed by a neck in her initial outing.
2- MILESTONE PAYMENT- Good turf barn and also good with turf runners and with debut runners. Bred for this and if she is ready to run she will make it very tough for the top pick in here.
8- BAY STORM- Comes in here out of a tough spot where she gave a very good account of herself.
10- O’GOTTON GIRL- Should run well in this spot.
Race 6.
10- ECONOMIC POLICY- I would have more confidence here if he was stepping up a little but seems to be spotted exactly where she belongs for her first race against winners. Broke her maiden last out for the same price tag.
2- DIANNESIMPAZIBLE- The drop to this level makes her very likely but the top pick could be much better at this reduced level of claimers.
3- ALLIED INVASION- Could be very dangerous here but the surface switch is a concern. She ran well in her turf races and she drops in class here so I am not sure why they are switching to aa dirt race???
Race 7.
*****12- SPRING TO SUMMER- May have been best in last race but did not win. Claimed from a good turf outfit and is probably sitting on a very big run here. This barn is also very good with new claims but can probably win off his former trainers work to get tp this point. BEST BET TODAY FOR ME!!!
10- WICKED HAPPY- Rider change will help D Davis not that good on turf races and he is not riding this one today so i think her chances increase now. Ran well in last and she drops back down for this.
4- KITTEN’S ROMANCE- i liked her last time when adding the blinkers and ran okay at 22 to 1 so I have to think she has a good shot here as well.
Race 8.
4- HIGH VELOCITY- Very likely he needed a race last time so now with a race under hiss belt I think any one of his races ran last year will be good enough to win this. Will be very hard to catch today.
7- PETE’S PLAY CALL- Has run some big ones and has won at this level. I think he’ll run big again today in this spot.
1- LAST JUDGEMENT- Finished right behind Pete last time out and is in good form.
Race 9.
6- SWEET BYE AND BYE- A race like any of her last few puts her there in a race that any of them can win. Tough call.
7- SHE’S GOT YOU- Very good US form and probably should be the top pick. I am using the top two equally.
3- FEEL GLORIOUS- Either of the Clement runners can be seen as a top contender for sure as well as ALTEA.
RACE 10.
5- FRESCO-Another head scratcher but this one has been running the fastest of this group in her last few races. Rider change to Irad will help too.
3- DATA ANALYTICS- Looking at the last race as a fluke. Should run much better than that one today.
7- MONIFICENT- Could control this race and take them gate to wire. The cut back off the last distance will help and she did wire them to break maiden at 6F on turf.
