Race 2) 1-1a-2. #1 Spartiatis. This race goes through the entry mates. Spartiatis and trainer win 32% on 2nd start with trainer,on a drop and enough speed in the race to set up his late run makes him the is the play. #1a Big Guy Ian is the perfect entry mate as he has the speed to go wire to wire or hurt the other speed in the race. #2 Toohottoevenspeak always performs well over the aqueduct track and if the speed hooks up and Spartiatis does not fire this is the one who could pick up the pieces and have his photo taken.
Race 3) Turf: 2-3-1 ,Dirt: 12-1-13. #2 Demarchelier is regally bred and will be one tough customer if this stays on the turf. #3 State of War hopefully gets to run on the grass and will show a good account of himself if he does. #1 Moretti is a 900K purchase and will be ready to run for Pletcher on turf or Dirt.
Race 4) Turf: 10-5-1 Dirt:12-11-13. #10 Awsum Roar is the top choice if this race stays on the Turf. Servis trained and speed on the outside will make him tough to beat. #5 Magician’s Vanity is trying the turf sprinting game. Gets Jose Ortiz aboard for a very good turf trainer. Mare has 10 seconds so have to use in the exacta at the least. #1 Hollywood Cat. Servis trained and Dubb owned means one thing. They want to win and they do win often. Have to use.
Race 5) 1-2-7 #1 Unrepented is the longshot play of the day. This 7 yo mare only has to run one from memory to win this race at a big price. Dangerous trainer with great stats give this one a big look at a great price. #2 Curiousncurioser has run 2 of its best races off a layoff. This one also loves Aqueduct and will be very dangerous to take it all. #7 Satin Sheets appears to have a little hang in her but can win this race on her best day.
Race 6) 6-3-5 #6 Sargeant Drive has woken up on the dirt and appears to be a better horse. 3rd off layoff and drawn perfectly he will be tough to deny. # 3 Point to Remember will be sitting in a good position and ready to pounce in the lane. So far he has not shown a lot when the real racing counts but might today. # 5 Mr Buff if he gets the lone lead and easy fractions he might pull a wire job but I have a hunch the rail horse will put enough pressure on him to have him softened in the lane.
Race 7) Turf: 2-4-6 Dirt: 13-16-14. # 2 Frisky Magician is back in against state breds and keeps jockey Lezcano who seems to know how to time this geldings rrun to the wire which makes him the top choice if this race stays on the turf. #4 Colonel Tom is back in against state breds and is a danger to take this field wire to wire. # 6 Ghost Giant has run well in a 3 turf starts if this race stays on the green he will be in the $ and might win.
Race 8) 1-6-7 This race is a crapshoot but will lean on the 3 most obvious. #1 Stay Good trainer wins 32% of the time 1st off claim. Will rely on him to win this one. # 6 Lovely Escort gets 1st time Lasix and enters the state bred ranks have to use. # 7 Simmering Miss caught a Sloppy track then ran on the grass this time she should get a fast track and maybe that does the trick.
