Tampa Bay Downs Racing Analysis- Sunday, March 10, 2019- By Jimmy Moore

Race 1
(4) El Soldador – Appears to be an improving 4yr old that has been close at this level, now gets the trainer switch and cutback in distance.
(5) Parrkaveli – Another one with a recent trainer switch, won last out after moving to Bennett, needs to take another step forward, trying 7f for the first time.
(2) Spintalk – Has been less than 3/1 in all 3 of recent Tampa starts, should be part of the pace but hasn’t been able to finish races off and get the win.
Race 2
(5) Stormbeam – Gets a drop in class and the race should have enough pace in it to help the deep closing style, 3 of 5 wins have came at this distance.
(3) Miss Krivoruchka – Will attempt to wire them again at what looks to be her best distance, seems to be a decent amount of speed in here though and should have some company up front.
(2) Thirty Nine Seven – Has been a little on paced in recent attempts, seems to be better on synthetic.
Race 3
(8) La Lova – In a race that seems to lack pace should find herself with a little less to do down the stretch today, in what looks like a wide open race to me I’ll give her a shot at 15/1 ML.
(2) Kwaina – Looks like this 7 year old said she wasn’t running that far and I don’t like the slop in the last one. Won at 30/1 here 2 back and gets in with a soft group in this one.
(3) Piki Piki Girl – Lost all chance in the last when off a little slow, has a total of 12 second and thirds but only 2 victories.
Race 4
(1) High Power – Maybe a little better on synthetic but will be a decent price here in a wide open event, coming off layoff and gets switch to high percentage trainer.
(4) R Showgirl – Improving 4 yr old filly seems to be finding her best stride of late, coming off maiden victory
(8) Quack Quack – Broke thru the maiden ranks in her 20th try, has some late kick so might clunk up for 3rd at a decent price.
Race 5
(2) On Strike – Drop in class to claiming ranks and gets a good inside post, will need some pace to run at.
(7) Taylor’s Belle – The last 2 look poor but will just forget about the last one on dirt taken off the turf, previous try lost some position at the start and was never really involved down the stretch.
(3) Ariska – Has been 4/1 or less at 3 tries at this level but never really contended in any of those, seems like a minor share here again.
Race 6
(5) Perfect Joe – Only 1/18 lifetime but Camacho had him within a neck of victory in the last, with a clean break should go straight to the lead.
(1) Benjamin – Comes over from Gulfstream and gets a big drop in class, has had some issues with only 2 races to date.
(3) Prequalified – One paced type runner coming off maiden victory.
Race 7

(10) Kynsley’s Knight – Treasure Beach has been a good producer of turf runners, Raymond has some good success with first time starters and this one should be a big price.
(7) Hard Story – Ignacio has good numbers with first time starters, steady work tab and turf pedigree.
(4) Channel Island – Clement having a nice meet, this colt ran well on debut finishing a close second.
Race 8
(9) My Venezuela – The Beyer Par for this maiden race is 47, none of these have really proven they can run that fast on dirt so I will take another shot with a first time starter that should be a big price. Barn is going well.
(7) Exotic Gold – Picks up Camacho and should be part of the pace, hasn’t been able to finish off races in past.
(4) War Beauty – This filly doesn’t have much early speed but might pass some tired one down the lane to get a piece.
Race 9
(7) Natural Order –  Maybe this 7 year old is losing a step but has several recent races that would be good enough to win here at a nice price.
(8) Astute Warrior – Consistent runner takes a drop to claiming ranks and looks like the horse to beat in here
(5) Completely Bonkers – Favored in last 2 races at this level, another consistent runner.
Race 10
(1) Rough Sea – Long layoff but if he comes back running any at all should be enough to beat this group.
(5) Urban Buckeye – Adds Blinkers and gets cutback and back to dirt.
(3) J’s Flashy Halo – Has some early speed and should be in the hunt in what looks like a wide open race if Rough Sea doesn’t run off the layoff.
