By Dennis Trusty

I just wanted to say this, this is my disclaimer the show must go on all hell broke loose last night. I hope your all out there doing well if your sick go to the doctor and get tested. And if you have it, close up drink lots of fluids, bet horses at home, watch TVG and just calm down. Our show must go on, handicapping doesn’t stop, let’s get some winners! Hope this helps if your concerned, even reading or picking out at home could clear your mind for at least a little bit. My twitter is @dennis_trusty any questions about these races or anything else horse racing or anything you can tweet at me.

Seems like rain in the forecast all week (on Wednesday night) at least as of now it’s gonna be about 77 degrees so it won’t be cold!

Race 1 6 Furlongs. Clm 12500 Purse $27,000 FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. Weight, 122 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since January 12, 2020 Allowed 2 lbs. Claiming Price $12,500, if for $10,000, allowed 2 lbs Post Time: 2:30/( 1:30)/12:30/11:30

7 Lewys Vaporizer 2-1 this horse is so two faced it seems, runs a huge race and dominates and then turns around and runs bad. The good races out-weigh the bad, and when he runs the good ones they are powerful.

2 Bajan Cash 5-2 either this horse is in amazing form or just beating up on weak competition. Won 2 in a row off the claim to the Diodoro barn for 6,250 and 8,000. Now in the Hollendorfer stable we can see what he does first off the claim. I must say if they got quick with the 4 and 7 this horse will be steam rolling late.

4 Chief of Staff 3-1 took them wire to wire last time out for 8,000 and got claimed by Diodoro, not M & M Racing so I don’t think it’s as deadly. Let that not fool you cause Diodoro off the claim is still vicious. My only worry mainly is if the 7 and 4 tangle the 7 should win that battle, and the 4 might quit and not hit the board.

Selections 7-2-4

Bets $1 exacta 2,7-1,2,4,5,7($8)

Race 2 1 1/16th Mile. Clm 16000n2L Purse $26,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. Three Year Olds, 119 lbs., Older, 125 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since January 12, 2020 Allowed 2 lbs. Claiming Price $16,000 Post Time: 2:57/( 1:57)/12:57/11:57

1 Colonel Talbot 5-2 I think if he runs that same race as last time he will go wire to wire. Was last time in for a waiver claiming 25,000, now in probably where he belonged the whole time and they didn’t want to waste a free run for money. I also think Orlando Mojica fits this horse better than David Cohen. Norman McKnight is 31% 2nd off the claim out of 75 starters I think this horse should run really well.

5 Mutineer 2-1 ran an average race just 1 week ago. And lost to another horse I know all about, in Parade Field, that was first time he was in for a tag so he was the class of the field. Now dropping down in half the class should fit right in, might get claimed. Doug O’Neill is probably hoping for that because

he can get 2 more of these types of horses. I wouldn’t talk you off this horse at all but I don’t know if I could talk you on at this price.

8 Georgia Deputy 10-1 rallied on a reverse race they went blistering early and he closed from last to win in a 1:47.3 maiden 10,000 at 18-1. Was recently close at Remington Park in Okie state breds, probably where he belongs. Since they aren’t open, he comes here to see what he could do.I don’t think he wins this race at all, could hit the board.

Selections 1-5-8

Bets $5 win 1($5)

Race 3 1 Mile MC 75000 Purse $51,000 FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES THREE YEARS OLD. Weight, 122 lbs. Claiming Price $75,000, if for $65,000, allowed 4 lbs Post Time: 3:25/( 2:25)/ 1:25/12:25

6 Austin’s Gal 9-2 first time around 2 turns, had flashed stalker speed in all 3 sprint starts. (Tongue twister say that 4 times fast lol). Since she is in for 65,000 she gets 4 pounds off which could play huge and also gets blinkers on. I hope jockey Alex Canchari goes right on the lead and sees how far she can get away with it. She is picked on the prime power Brisnet numbers 1st with a 117.3

7 Dawdle 3-1 flashed speed for a waiver 50,000 and faded late for Jason Barkley. Has never had a fast track and seems like today that she won’t have a fast track either. Which I don’t see as a bad thing, since she ran decent on both off-track races.

3 Broadway Burn 10-1 first time in for a claiming tag, in from Remington Park where she finished 5th in both races. First race she was off slow and then they put her on the grass and she broke quick and faded a little, now with blinkers on I think they must be trying to get her to relax and sit a stalking trip.

Selections 6-7-3

Bets $2 win & place 6($4)

Race 4 6 Furlongs. Clm 8000n1y Purse $25,000 FOR FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NOT WON A RACE SINCE NOVEMBER 12, 2019. Weight, 124 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since September 12, 2019 Allowed 3 lbs. A Race Since July 12, 2019 Allowed 6 lbs. Claiming Price $8,000 (Races Where Entered For $7,500 Or Less Not Considered In Eligibility) Post Time: 3:52/( 2:52)/ 1:52/12:52

1 Monday Confession 10-1 I feel like gambling this race and if I am going to do so the 1, I think is the perfect horse. Off the claim from a horrible trainer, to now a trainer who is 12 percent but has 19% off the claim in Federico Villafranco. I don’t know why he claimed this horse, but I am sure he has a reason and I will go with it at 10-1.

6 Big Sport 3-1 with Karl Broberg being 27% off the claim and this horse just winning for 6,250 might be tough in here. Also, finished 2nd for 8,000 2 races ago before the claim it tells me one thing for sure and one thing that could happen. For sure Broberg will make his money back with this horse in my opinion, and might just do it today. It seems like a wide open race and if I was to land on one horse that I was most confident in this race, this would be it.

7 Virga 8-1 had the lead against the 6 horse last time and now off the claim is a bit of a decrease from the McKnight barn to the John Cox barn. I wouldn’t talk anyone off this horse and is very valuable with that price, just has to improve.

Selections 1-6-7

Bets $2 win & $6 show 1($8)

Race 5 6 Furlongs. Clm 40000n2L Purse $43,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. Three Year Olds, 119 lbs., Older, 125 lbs. Claiming Price $40,000, if for $35,000, allowed 2 lbs Post Time: 4:19/( 3:19)/ 2:19/ 1:19

1 Hidden Ruler 5-2 I’m sure when John Ortiz claimed this horse, he thought he would win those starter allowance 50,000 races. Now he is trying to get at least one win out of this horse before I believe he drops him right down to 16,000 or so he can get claimed. They could set a fast pace which could benefit him in the long run, but he doesn’t run his best races when they go extremely fast.

2 Morning Snow 2-1 I don’t know what to do with him, Baffert drops in for 40,000 when he bought the horse for 300k. Waited till he was mid 3 year old to debut him and he ran good, came back to win. Then waited 8 months to run him and nada got 7th. Was favorite every time might have something to do with names of trainers there but I just don’t see this with Baffert and all I can say is proceed with caution.

7 Box of Chocolates 9-2 ran an average race last time with no major move being made in an average pace. Is a hard trying horse that just can’t get W’s so I think in exoctics this horse is a must use but as a win I wouldn’t push this horse even though I am doing what I am doing just in case.

Selections 1-2-7

Bets $6 win & place 1… I was thinking about taking an exacta but that’s kinda pointless if it runs 1,2 or 1,3.

Race 6 6 Furlongs. MC 40000 Purse $42,000 FOR ARKANSAS BRED (WHICH QUALIFY UNDER RULES GOVERNING ARKANSAS-BREDS) MAIDENS, FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. Three Year Olds, 118 lbs., Older, 124 lbs. Claiming Price $40,000 Post Time: 4:46/( 3:46)/ 2:46/ 1:46

3 Dat Girl 9-2 I think the cut back in distance from 1 mile and 16th back to 6 furlongs is the key to this horse tomorrow, has a better closing kick. I don’t like taking a 0 for 24 trainer, with a lot of 2nd’s and 3rd’s, at least there are some good races she had. Was beaten favorite last time and ran 3rd, and time before that ran 3rd at huge odds of 17-1 and that could have been fluky but she backed it up. I don’t mind the raise up in class from 25 to 40 because a lot of the Arkie breds are the same.

8 Lori’s Eyes 5-1 was bet to 7-2 and 5-2 both races out and now get a decent price after not performing for the first two times. I wish I had a nickel for every time that happened. I don’t know if she will win but I think she will run a huge race.

6 Many Sweet Treats 7-2 was trying hard for 2nd last time where she was beat by 10 lengths for the win at 9-1 in Maiden Specials State Bred. It shows a promising sign she didn’t just quit and she learned a lot trying to run 2nd. Very dangerous horse here.

Selections 3-8-6

Bets $3 win $10 show 3($13)

Race 7 6 Furlongs. OC 40000n$y Purse $92,000 FOR ARKANSAS BRED (WHICH QUALIFY UNDER RULES GOVERNING ARKANSAS-BREDS) THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NOT WON $15,000 TWICE OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING, OR STARTER SINCE NOVEMBER 12, 2019 OR CLAIMING PRICE $40,000. Three Year Olds, 119 lbs., Older, 125 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since February 12, 2020 Allowed 2 lbs. A Race Since January 12, 2020 Allowed 4 lbs. Claiming Price $40,000 Post Time: 5:14/( 4:14)/ 3:14/ 2:14

1 Hoonani Road 8-5 an Oaklawn beast the track record speaks for its self, 8-7-1-0 at Oaklawn. Need I say more?

3 J. E.’s Handmedown 10-1 a familiar foe to Hoonani Road just might be running for 2nd here which I hope he is. Also 2nd of the layoff could help him, and looking at how he ran that race he obviously needed that race.

7 Bandit Point 7-2 ran back in for Arkie breds off a long time being away from those types and CIRCLED that field. Has ran behind both of my selections last year and I think is a must use for exotics and stuff and if he gets the right set up he could go right on by like last time.

Selections 1-3-7

Bets $1 exacta box 1,2 1,3 1,5 1,7 1,8($10)

Race 8 1 16th Mile. OC 80000n1x Purse $90,000 FOR FILLIES THREE YEARS OLD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON A RACE OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING, STARTER, OR STATE BRED OR CLAIMING PRICE $80,000. Weight, 122 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since February 12, 2020 Allowed 4 lbs. Claiming Price $80,000 Post Time: 5:42/( 4:42)/ 3:42/ 2:42

8 She’s All Wolfe 20-1 I think this race is a price not because I like the 8, because I don’t like none of the favorites. I don’t like either Asmussens really here, I don’t love Amoss’ horse, and McPeek looks okay but was 18-1 first time out with an Ortiz not much faith in her. The 8 fights every race and has been no worse than 4th in all 4 starts when she had every excuse to be farther back then where she finished. And I don’t know if she can win but she could really close late, or just not fire. Which I think the last option is really going to be rare, since I said she always tries.

9 Back in Charge 7-2 I don’t like reaching in the McPeek bag, and I don’t like a horse that ships from one race track to another not to be in a stakes race. They went lightning fast up front in her only race and then omega slow at the end. Went from 46.2 to finish in a 1:38.3 for 1 mile on dirt. Prime power number

has her picked 8th but I think on paper could be the best of the favorites and has a huge chance to get better. Love, love, love the comment of determined on her only race, huge sign the horse has heart.

6 Charming Lady 3-1 ran great damn near perfect in her first race. I love when a young horse can go sprinting and stalk, shows maturity and she was huge favorite, so they had faith in her. Then in my opinion the complete opposite she was on the lead going long which from a young horse I hate seeing because they can’t get settled. I wonder what she will do today and I think this is the best horse in the race, just has too many question marks.

Selections 8-9-6

Bets $2 win $6 show 8($8)

Race 9 1 Mile. Clm 8000b Purse $24,000 FOR FILLIES AND MARES FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON THREE RACES OR WHICH HAVE NOT WON A RACE SINCE SEPTEMBER 12, 2019. Weight, 124 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Since November 12, 2019 Allowed 3 lbs. A Race Since July 12, 2019 Allowed 6 lbs. Claiming Price $8,000 (Races Where Entered For $5,000 Or Less Not Considered In Eligibility And Allowances) Post Time: 6:10/( 5:10)/ 4:10/ 3:10

9 Honor With Pride 15-1 I think the stretch out helped this horse learn how to break on top, also the blinkers on too 2nd time should have helped. I think with this price this horse could be a decent price and have a value run.

6 Frozen Hannah 3-1 had traffic when the horse was where she belonged now a smaller drop could get the job done.

7 Weneedtotalk 7-2 Diodoro 2nd off the claim is at 27%, just she didn’t run a good race at all last time for 12,500. Now dropped back in for the original tag where she was claimed I am worried she needs bottom. And even then might not be strong enough to get the job done, could have just been a bad claim they do happen.

Selections 9-6-7

Bets $2 win $6 show 9($8)

Total $76

Hope this helps someone out there, if your sick and looking for something to do with that to take your mind off of it. Like I said watch TVG make a few bets or even picks while watching to take your mind off it.
