3 VERO AMORE BI stopped to a walk last week in a spot he figured to be short in, if you forgive easily, you may get twice the price, interesting
4 BEE IN CHARGE rallied furiously and now steps up off the claim, but this spot is tougher, was well bet and well meant last time though, perhaps moves forward? I doubt you’ll get 9-2 either, that’s the bigger problem
5 SCOTTIES SPIRIT has hit the ticket here at this level before and could spice up the exotics underneath

6 MR MACH JIMMY will win this race more often than not, the odds will likely reflect such

1 DAYLON MAGICIAN goes back to the Moiseyev barn and we’ll see if that makes any difference as this horse tried the Preferred level when he was last in this barn, the last couple haven’t been up to snuff but can he wake up at a price tonight?
6 BIG RICH goes back to Roy and has hit the board the last 4 times he’s driven this one with 2 of those being wins, conservative steer last week I would expect this one to be flying off the gate tonight
7 WILD AND CRAZY GUY will try tougher after being scratched last week and it’s hard to argue with anyone that likes at a price given the current form, this is much tougher though on paper
4 CUE HALL has raced fine but you have to play against at a short price, but if he drifts……use
3 BAUTISTA was scratched last week but if that ML is correct he’s going to be too short to consider in this field, he is sharp though
8 ODDS ON AMETHYST needs a trip and could be hard to find it from post 8, I guess if he drifts he’s usable

4 PARKHILL NONSTOP was flat last week and steps back up tonight, I wonder if he’s the sneaky play in here tonight
5 SETANTA rallied for 2nd last week at 47-1 and you’ll pay for that tonight if you like him
6 MAJOR MUSCLE drops and looks the one to beat, the last 3 weren’t exactly visually inspiring, good horse to take a shot against perhaps, understanding he can win

5 HANKS TANK looked good last week but perhaps it was just the field he faced? Tough to trust at a short number
9 CLOUD NINE HANOVER broke last time and now drops to a reasonable enough spot, post 9 might mean a no try though, tough call, at too big of odds you just have to assume they won’t try, watch the board

7 TYLERS BEACH BOY is the unknown but does has some back form that would obviously crush this field, but at the bottom level off of a 2 year plus layoff he’s hard to recommend on top, but could be a price
1 LIVELY FREDDIE drops; draws the rail and could be a factor late if he can improve 3rd time for Auciello
6 CASIMIR OVERDRIVE is maybe the one to beat and can win, but he’s not deserving of a short price, fade

1 FREE WILLY HANOVER is sharp, and draws the rail, a ground saving trip with some racing luck could be all he needs, use at a big number
3 B YOYO has raced well of late from off the pace, hard to know if the inside draw helps but he’ll need a trip regardless, at 10-1 or more he’s usable
4 ON A SUNNY DAY was favored on Jan 14th and wasn’t that good, and was scratched last week, I would demand every bit of that ML 9-2 suggestions before considering, you have to be on your game to win at this level
5 DANCER HALL always finds one better but did race very well last week, a similar effort puts him right there
6 DUNBAR HALL uncharacteristically broke last time we saw him and he missed a week last week, perhaps a good week to go against?
9 MUSICAL RHYTHM shouldn’t be ignored having won 2 of the last 5 preferred events but the last time he drew this poorly he finished 7th, also note both of his wins came on off tracks
7 PL JILL parked every step when I bet her 3 back, jogged 2 back against weaker, and came right back in the Preferred to score last week, tough to argue with her form, and when mares get good they get good, if NOT favored, consider on top

9 LAUTNER SEELSTER beat the 3 the last time they faced off but has a tougher post assignment tonight, figures to get lost in the wagering, could be a live bomb if can somehow get into the race
