Race 1: MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT $40,000 Six Furlongs Picks: 7-6-2
Ortinola (#7): Back to back 3rd place finishes at this level and shortens up to lowest distance of career. She has plenty of speed and will be up close. Good works coming in and has good post. Must use.
Jump for Sally (#6): Should get plenty of speed up front and will have a fast track today. Has a prime power of 114, which is the highest of the field. She will take advantage of a good pace. 
Keep Your Thoughts (#2): makes career debut today, where trainer is 13% with first time starters. Has good works from the gate and can save ground from the rail. 


Race 2: MAIDEN CLAIMING $25,000 5 1/2 Furlongs Picks: 4-5-3
Freezing Waters (#4): Drops from $50,000 to $25,000 level, trainer is 13% when dropping two classes. This filly is the speed f the field and if left alone, she will win. Faces weaker here and should get the trip. 
Unique Humor (#5): Will sit right off the pace and come with first run. Trainer is 18% with horses first after the claim. Good beyer numbers throughout career. She is bred for speed. 
Go Amanda (#3): Drops to lowest level of her career and gets blinkers for the first time, where the trainer is 13%. She should get a good pace upfront. The class drop gives her weaker company and she will be flying late, question is is she good enough?


Race 3: MAIDEN CLAIMING $10,000 One Mile Picks: 2-1-9
Hey Mabel (#2): Three straight second place finishes, so something has got to give. she faces weak competition here and has beaten some others in this field already. One mile should be the perfect distance for her. Is today the day she breaks through? 
Bash (#1): Drops to the lowest level claimer of her career. Also has the highest beyer of any horse in the field. She has closing speed and will get pace. Prime Power of 108 tops the field. Must use. 
Simmard Shenanigan (#9): Was second at this level last time out and looks to improve. Trainer is 17% in maiden claimers and with an apprentice aboard, will get a seven pound weight break. Upset chance. 


Race 4: CLAIMING $12,500 – $10,500 One Mile Picks: 6-2-3
Maynooth (#6): In the superfecta in five straight races, this gelding goes back to a distance that he likes. He posted the highest beyer number of his career last time out, only has gotten better at this level, must use. 
Can He Shine (#2): Won at this level two starts back and seeks to get back to winning ways. Trainer is 22% with horses second time in their barn. Has plenty of speed and will use it from the inside. 
Barcode (#3): Stretches back out to one mile and gets a new rider today. Good workouts coming in and can get the distance, has a high prime power ranking. Longshot chance. 

ace 5: CLAIMING $5,000 One Mile Picks: 6-10-9
Brahms Romp (#6): Has 10 second place finishes in 19 starts. He can go to the lead or sit off the pace. In a field lacking speed, he could go to the front and teal it. Trainer has a hot hand right now and is 23% in routes. Good chance. 
Turbin (#10): Has four wins at this distance and three of them have come at Laurel Park. Faces weaker company today and will be flying late. 
Tipit (#9): Three seconds in his last four starts, he now stretches out and will get more ground to work with. Will need pace in over to go for the win. 


Race 6: STARTER ALLOWANCE $8,000 Six Furlongs Picks: 5-3-9
Sir Rockport (#5): Winner of three of his last four stats, this gelding has found a home in this ranking class. Now he is in a new barn, the trainer is 24% with horses first after the claim and 23% with last out winners. Has three wins at Laurel and five wins at this distance. Must use. 
Correjon (#3): Has five wins at Laurel Park but only one at this distance. Posted a high beyer number last time out and sets to improve. Will be up close early. 
Manipulated (#9): Winner of two straight at Penn National and ships in today. Trainer is 17% shipping. He has six wins at this distance and picks up Trevor McCarthy in the saddle. Longshot has an outside post but a live chance. 


Race 7: ALLOWANCE  $42,000 1 1/16 Miles Picks: 6-3-5
Totalitario (#6): Winner of three of his last four starts, this gelding appears to be the class of the field. He get the services of Trevor McCarthy, who was aboard him when he won two starts back, and goes backk to the distance where he is 2 for 2 in his career. Trainer is 25% in dirt starts this meet. Must use. 
Jump Jive an Wail (#3): Six straight top three finishes, but that includes five seconds. He is a consistent performer and shows up all the time. Will be mudpack early on and will be coming late. 
Worth His Salt (#5): Moves up in class after a win last time out. Trainer is 23% with horses who won last time out and 19% in allowance races. Good jockey/trainer combination. Could tangle with the leaders early on. 


Race 8: ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING $50,000 One Mile Picks: 5-7-2
Franks’sgunisloaded (#5): Was a sharp maiden winner at the Fair Grounds last time out and has since been privately sold. Trainer is 22% with horses off 60 days away and 26% with last out maiden winners. Good amount of pace in this race so should be flying late. 
Storming Hong Kong (#7): Tough beat last time out but comes back in a field where he should be the speed. Trainer is 28% as the beaten favorite and 23% in dirt races. Meets leading trainer is on a hot roll right now. Taking a chance. 
Marco Island (#2): Won his only start at this distance and did it in style. Speed is his game and he is gonna need it in here. Picks up Trevor McCarthy for the first time. Posted a bullet workout Four days ago and is ready to go. 


Race 9: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $25,000 5 1/2 furlongs Picks: 2-1-8
Trimmed in Grey (#2): Shortens up to a distance she should like and gets a big weight break from the rest of this field.. Won her only dirt start at Laurel Park. Good speed signed on here so she should be rolling late. 
Into Bluegrass (#1): Drops to $25,000 level today. Posted a solid beyer lat time out. Has three on the board finishes at Laurel Park. Inside post means she should be able to save ground. 
Mae Sai Princess (#8): Makes her third start off the layoff today, where the trainer is 17%, far outside post and she will go from there. Gets a fast track today. Good jockey trainer combination. Prime Power of 113 is among highest in the field. Longshot chance.
