Race 2: 4-2-3
#4 INTERLAKEN stays at the 6,250 level after an okay second last time against similar. #2 FIGHTINIRISHTABIT broke his maiden last time and has some decent speed figs to go with it. #3 GRAN RED has been consistent at this level and looks to get it done after a few solid races in a row.
Race 3: 3-1-7
#3 GO TO WAR drops in class, gets blinkers, and get a short freshening. #1 SECRET O’LIFE has been favored three straight times at this level and just couldn’t get it done. Right there. #7 LILLIE’S HEAT was claimed last time after setting the pace to finish third.
Race 4: 6-7-2
#6 FAFA FOOEYs race two back will win this. Last race is a total question mark. Was consistent at the MSW level in Canada. #7 ELUSIVE RO had a troubled trip and still ran solid last time, Gaffalione stays. #2 FREE FLAYME goes first time Lasix and gets a surface change.
Race 5: 4-5-1
#4 MAHVELOUS KITTEN gets a big dropdown after being competitive at a higher level. I like this one. #5 COCKTAIL SKIRT goes first off the claim and has run a few races in a row that are good enough. #1 THANKS MOM had some traffic last time and is 7 for 16 in the money lifetime.
Race 6: 2-3-1
#2 DIZZY GILLESPIE has some good early speed and his last two wins were very impressive. It is a tough race here. #3 BROWNS GAP seems to run his race every time. First off the claim for Navarro. #1 CHARLIE THE GREEK gets back to open company after beating up on statebreds.
Race 7: 4-3-8
#4 BALABAN comes in second off the layoff off a maiden score for Servis. #3 THORPE D’OROs race two back at this level was good. Half of his lifetime races in the money. #8 MACHO BLUE set the pace last time and wired em. Got a good speed figure.
Race 8: 1-2-7
#1 MO GEE is 10 for 14 lifetime in the money and this is his first time in for a tag. Like the cutback for this honest horse. #2 MR. DISCRETIONARY comes in off the layoff and ships down to Florida. Looking for a price on this one. #7 VICTOR LOUNGE ran well down the stretch last time at this same level. Can win.
Race 9: 2-1-4
#2 BODEBABE gets back to dirt and gets a little class relief. Like this horse. #1 SHES SO NEEDY broke her maiden impressively last time and if she improves off that she will be tough. Looking for a little regression though. #4 CYPRIANA finds a softer group for her return to the races. Nice horse that might need one, but still can win based on talent alone.
Race 10: 3-2-1
#3 MY SEBASTIANA showed speed last time and ran her best race. Goes dirt to turf. Might catch a price here. #2 MUSKOKA SUZIE goes second try of turf and gets a major distance cutback. #1 SASSY LASSY will be an outsider in the wagering and I’m hoping to surface switch wakes her up.
