Race 2. 5)STANHOPE; A lot going for him and he needed last. should be tough here. 1) INSIDE INFO; turf tightener in last out should help having this one ready to fire best shot. 4) HARRIS BAY; probable favorite is always close but can’t seem to seal the deal.
Race 3. 9) REALM OF LAW; Turf bred top and bottom. Has the look of a future C. Brown stakes horse. 7) CHASING FAME; west coast trainers work their horses fast and this one is no different. Looks sharp off works. 2) FIGHTING FORCE; barn does well with babies. 6) TEXAS BASIN; have to include on multi race tickets. That may be the case in many situations today with so many maiden races with so much unknown talent. tread lightly.
Race 4. **3)SUPER DUDE; first off a claim for Rudy is a strong angle, sharp and at the right level. 6) FAMILY BIZ; another barn that does really well with new claims. tough spot here because on their own I would bet both these new claims if they were in separate races. 4) ALLURED; next best thing. Noda barn red hot. can’t leave their runners out.
Race 5. 1) LUCKY LATKES; looks best on paper and will be very tough in this spot. 5) TWO CENT TOOTSIE; drop makes this one tough here. The one to beat. 11) SHE SO NAUGHTY; stretching out today may make the difference.
Race 6. 13) VIOLENTIUM; gets the vote if drawn in here off sharp debut in last. 7) LA URBANA; barn has been on fire with two year olds lately. 1) BYHUBBYHELLOMONEY; just has the look of one that should be inclded. Cox is winning on all fronts lately.
Race 7. 8)**TRANSLATE; barn is very good with new claims and this one ran a big debut. Should be tough to beat here. 12) APURATE; switch to very aggressive rider should make a difference today. 9) ZACCAPA; 3rd start of form cycle and she picks up a very good turf rider in here.
Race 8. 2) FRENCH REEF; should be hard to beat with another improvement. 4) FIYA; is very sharp right now and sharp horses win races. 5) CHILLY IN CHARGE; using here because it doesn’t make sense that he ships up here off a December layoff unless they think he is ready to fire a big one.
Race 9. 2) MADELINE MUST; she should be very tough today. ran good enough to win in last and this is 3rd of a form cycle. 9) OLENDON; these top two are also from the top two turf barns. This one will probably be your favorite. 6) LEAD GUITAR; rarely misses the top three. Should be close again today.
Race 10. 4) WICKED TITLE; *** BEST BET, Rudy always moves up runners new to his barn and I rarely don’t bet him with fresh claims and it has provided some nice returns in the past. 9)LA NEGRITA; 2nd in last 3 at this level. should be right there again. 2) HAPPY SOPHIA; very sharp try when dropped to this level for last. Should be tough again here
