Race 1) 5-3-6
#5 Captain Livi gets a fast track and an extra ¼ mile will be live and improve. #3 Face It Godolphin owned and bred will stretch out and might improve. #6 Kingdom’s Queen is 3rd off and could pick up the pieces.
Race 2) 2-3-1
#2 Naples Legacy is 4/4 in the $ on a fast track a repeat of race 2 back at the distance could win this at a price. # 3 Tigalalu has two 3rds at the distance and is a threat to take them a long way. #`1 Out of Trouble has trainer Cox with a 25% win with the move from turf to dirt. Will be a short price but if she runs the same race as she did on a sloppy track at this distance could easily win.
Race 3) 6-4-1
#6 Analyze the Odds drops to claiming level where trainer wins at 38% of the time. Not much value but can easily win. #4 Regal Quality drops in half in value for Pletcher. Another who won’t offer much value but a must use. #1 Long Gray Line is 3rd off layoff, Turf to Dirt and just might surprise.
Race 4) 6-4-9
#6 Call Will brings his mid-Atlantic form to NY and will be very dangerous. #4 Canarsie Kid is 3rd off layoff with dangerous speed and could wire the field. #9 Wicked Freud has run well at Aqueduct in the past and dropping into a sprint off a route will be rallying late under Ortiz.
Race 5) 5-7-1
#5 Montana Skeptic. Taking a flyer with this 1st time Lasix entrant. Not facing much and only has to improve a little to win at a nice price. #7 Lolli is hoping to pop as they go Turf route to a sprint on the dirt. Barclay Tagg runner will run big here or never use again at any level. # 1 Jordy’s Ready is steady at this level but just not proven that she can win. Found a weak group again and maybe today is the day to break her maiden.
Race 6) 5-3-11
#5 Arch of Troy is a well traveled Mott turfer that can win. # 3 Discreet Image will try and take them wire to wire if she gets an easy lead on a slow pace she could be gone. # 11 Purely Lucky needs a little luck to draw in but if she does you have to use the way the connection fire on all cylinders.
Race 7) 3-4-6
#3 Helooksthepart only has to run the same races last year at Aqueduct to win this race. # 4 Full Salute will be dangerous as a speed horse could go wire to wire. # 6 Roman Approval. It has been a long time since he has run on the dirt but is actually 8 /9 in the $ on a fast track and 3/3 in the $ at the distance. Could be overlooked.
Race 8) 3-9-10
#3 Hollywood Cat is trained by Servis and being ridden by Irad Ortiz where they have won 38% of the time the last 60 days. #9 Spa treatment and # 10 Dream Passage will both be rallying late. Not sure who will get to the wire 1st between them so I say use both in any position you want.
Race 9) 8-9-12
# 8 Curlins Legacy is 3rd off layoff, blinkers on and dropping in class. Has to be used and will be tough to beat. #9 Santo Antonio is dropping in class , bullet work out of the good NY sire Frost Giant. # 12 Shamrock Kid needs a little luck of the irish to draw in but if he does this Brad Cox trainee could win as he fires and wins at 27% as the beaten fave in last start.
