Aqueduct racing analysis- Thursday Nov 21 2019- By Ed Piluso

Hello, all and we are back here at Aqueduct and this will be the first card of the meet for myself. After posting a positive Belmont fall meet I will try to keep that going into the winter here at the big A!

Race 1: 4-9-10

#4 ABBY NORMAL is a constant runner at this distance and has some of the best Beyers in the field. 5 times ITM at this distance in 7 tries and Eric Cancel is retaining the ride here. There’s a good amount of speed in this race for this filly to chase and she should have some success today and break her maiden.

Race 2: 4-3-5

#4 FIRST DAWN is an interesting pace play here as there are 3 speed horses here and his mare is the only one who will come from off the pace. It might be a longer shot in a short field but it looks like it’s the value play here. Highest ever Beyer she earned was in her last race.

Race 3: 8-9-6

#8 ZABAVA is a horse who has won twice at this distance and ITM 3 of 5 times. The last race she ran on turf over at Keeneland was at this distance and she was gaining after being last throughout the race. This race will have some pace up front to chase and Jose comes back up today. I’m not worried about it being her first time here as she handles multiple tracks very well.

Race 4: 2-7-5

#2 TAN AND TIGHT is a Chad Brown trainee going into a turf sprint, so naturally we are going to get 6-5 ML but unfortunately I cannot find anybody I would rather take a shot with here. Irad stays up and this filly has never finished further back than 3 3/4 lengths.
The key for making money here is who we are putting under the likely winner, I do like this 7 a lot and will place a side bet on her.

Race 5: 7-8-1

#7 SOLITARY GEM has had two very solid races in her past two times out. This filly should get a solid stalking position and Kendrick won’t keep her too far back in a shorter race. She has some good Beyers and races over this course here in Queens and should be able to get the trip at a track she’s a constant runner at.

Race 6: 9-1-5

#9 WHATAWONDERFLWORLD is getting a nice drop in class today and ran ITM twice at this distance and both times he ran here at Aqueduct. Trianer has some good stats as well, 50% with this jockey at Aqueduct and 18% this year together overall. This is the lowest level he will ever run at and Joel has had some very solid races with this horse before and I see a lot of promise.

Race 7: 2-3-6

#2 DREAM PASSAGE let’s just be honest, this is a single here as this race has no pace in it whatsoever. This mare should get to the lead under Lezcano and never even have any issues whatsoever. She’s run second or better in both races here at the big A as well and runs well at the distance.

Race 8: 4-9-6

#4 CENTRAL EXIT ran very well last time out considering the fact that she was up to 17 lengths back at one point and made up 11 lengths overall. Joel will keep her closer today and we all know his finishing ability. Jockey/Trainer is 20% for this year and the trainer is 21% with second time maidens, 23% with 2 year olds, and 20% for horses going from a maiden special w
