Aqueduct Racing Analysis- Thursday Dec 12 2019- By Spencer Luginbuhl

Race 1

4-2-6

#4 Twirling Faith: the one main class dropper who has yet to run at today’s level. Jeremiah Engleheart is one of the best with 2-year-olds on the circuit. In a paceless race, this one may be the fastest out of the gate although some are adding blinkers today. The debut definitely left more to be desired.

#2 Kemba: The other logical contender she hasn’t done well in both MSW starts but the one start at the level seemed to be pretty good for the level. There were 3 next out winners and those improved there Beyer between 5-15 points. Raymond Handall isn’t the best with 2-year-olds hitting only with 9% in the last 2 years in a 44 starter sample.

Race 2

6-3-1

Race 3

5-6-7

#5 Alans Argument: This Son of violence has never lost against weaker and has been working superbly since the mediocre debut. From a pace perspective, I think he sits right behind the speeds with a good gate jock. One possible negative he doesn’t have the best last-out Beyer not even close. This might be just a very weak MSW race for the level

#6 Punchline: The other straight MSW comes off a long layoff and will definitely need to improve. He did improve off the first decent layoff and if you can get this horse above 4-1 it might be the steal of the race

Race 4

5-7-2

#5 Sneakiness: with these types of starter races I like to look and find the horses that have run for the same price tag as the race allows and find wins and good seconds. This gelding claimed last time out by Linda Rice just broke his maiden for 59K last time out at Saratoga. Now has a layoff to deal with but Linda is very good in that category and I’m taking a small shot against the entry and Servis horse.

#7 Oh Danny Bear: The win for this horse came two back for 35K and shows up today in terrific form with lethal connections who hit at 20+ win % and a positive ROI. It’s nice to see the jump and Danny Gargan did not leave the horse in another claiming race

Race 5

6-8

#6 Persisto: tome both my picks are equal and I would take the one with the better odds due to the other one being Todd Pletcher I will this speedy daughter of orb should get the lead again and go wire to wire. Trainer Kelly Breen is a solid 18% with 2-year-olds.

#8 Indawin: This one followed our top pick around the track before out finishing her for second place. The big negative for me with this one is that this one never really seemed to run and was in second for the entire race.

race 6

8-6

# 8 Bustin Scones: Picking a bomb on top in a race that I think no one wants to win This Gary Contessa runners race 3 back of a 75 Beyer would seemingly crush the field and that’s a nice price seeing a little action going down in 7-1 range would be a good indicator.

#6 Fight on Lucy: Ok third last time out at the level. needs to get faster to contend here but this looks like the race came up pretty weak. The maiden win 2 back seemed to be a surprise going off at 31-1 that 65 Beyer puts him a little outside the Beyer Par.

Race 7

5-6-1

Race 8

2-5-1
