Aqueduct Racing Analysis — Sunday, January 12, 2020, by Ivan Lopez

Aqueduct 1-12 (My apologies to all for not doing a complete write up, situation in PR not easy at all with all these earthquakes)

  1. 2-5-7
  2. 3-6-5
  3. 3-4-6
  4. 9-1-8
  5. 3-2-1
  6. 3-7-1
  7. 4-1-5
  8. 8-2-7

Notes:1st: Rude Awaking should be much fitter second time out and has a speed edge over the ones that have run at least once.2nd: Lookbothways fits the Light Bulb angle and prefer to look at him first over a ML fave which has failed constantly as the choice.3rd: Orpheus will not have it as easy as last time out, but likes the distance and should be sitting close to the pace. Difficult race to handicap.4th: Sure Stitch ran in a much tougher group in her debut, now gets a relief in class and track should be drier for this, her second race lifetime. Spread across in another tough race to analyze.5th: I will take a chance with Overtime Olivia, whose speed makes her a threat to wire this field.6th: Viradia is in the best shape of her life and she is facing basically the same group she beat handily three weeks ago.7th: Dream Bigger should find a drier track on Sunday and will be stalking the leaders from very close range. Looks solid to me.8th: Future Book and Bronze Lion drop from MSW to claimers, and that alone makes them contenders in this weak group.
