Race 1
3-8-6
3- Lucky Me Lucky You- the only speed in the race as I see it. The wet poly should tighten the track up and lead well for speed. Check out the last work, very impressive.
8- She’s Got Friends- will be the favorite here but may run out of racetrack. I flipped back and forth with my top pick but feel there’s better value with the top selection.
6- Atruevision – some things to like in this weak field but not enough for the top spots. Love the exacta box with my top two.
Race 2
3-4-8
3- Serve – many things to like with this gelding. Trainer West hits with a high percentage of second off the lay-off and the shorter distance will fit well. Looking for a gate to wire effort.
4- Willy I Am – drops back into a claimed after an unsuccessful try with harder. Never out of the money in claiming events and 4 for 4 in the money at the distance.
8- Insurgent- will provide speed from the outside and shows great stats both at the distance and at this track.
Race 3
5-9-2
5- Emmy Shimmy – really like this pick, sat too far back last race and made a nice run late to pick up a share. Trainer has good second off stats and I will be looking for her to be in a much better spot heading for home.
9- Ready to Go- bit of a long shot play here but should be well placed near the front. Worried about the 3 races in 3 weeks.
2- Desiree- ran a good race in the last and should the track tonight as she was contending with a closer-favoring strip last out.
Race 4
1-7-5
1- Lake Girl- her last was impressive, a nice second and 3 lengths back to the third place finisher. Not much value but should get it done.
7- Paris of Francia – my long shot bet for the night, some great angles here as trainer does well with barn newbies.
5- Divine Melody- Firster out of Distorted Humor, some great works from a successful barn.
Race 5
6-2-3
6- Sharm – McKee had choices in this race and here is where he lands. Looking for 2 in a row. Should get some value in this full field.
2- Flying Frank – has done well both at the distance and the track. Looking for him to be forwardly placed early.
3- Laflowmylaxbro – second off and as the horse above has a liking for the track and distance.
Race 6
8-7-6
8- Point to Dunkirk – not a horrible race in last at Churchill for Pitts. Looking for a speed try in this easier position at a fair price.
7- G Nineteen- horse doesn’t look bad but connections are not having good years, I have a hard time taking low price horses with low percentage connections.
6- Just like Ritchie, same notes as above. Low odds expected with a trainer that is 0 for 46 and a horse that is 0 for 21. Crazy but the odds will be low.
Race 7
7-3-5
7- Craftys Dream – one for one at the distance and shows a liking for the poly. Lots of suspect speed in here that will be bet and I see her sitting back similar to the November 13 race.
3- Bivian B- nice race here in last and should be more familiar with the surface second over.
5- Princess Athena – Another with a good last time effort on this track , should stock the pace and be there at the finish.
Race 8
2-11-1
2- Two if by Sea – one of my best bets tonight, shows both class and preference for the distance. Blinkers go back on, check out the August races, looking for similar.
11- looking for positioning early and a late push to be in the win photo.
1- entry has some bright spots in this lackluster field.
