Race 1
(5) Animus – Ferraro has good numbers first off the claim, the blinkers also come off, was an expensive purchase price, maybe this 4 year old can eventually regain some of his early race form.
(6) Chilling Secret – Nothing too exciting in this first race, second choice seems most consistent and best of the rest. Has finished 8/13 either 2nd or 3rd.
(1) Fourth Design – Gets another drop in class and has shown some speed.
Race 2
(7) Princess Livia – Has enough speed cutting back 1/2 furlong to still probably get the lead in here.
(4) Foxy Shot – Might get hooked up in a duel with Princess but those 2 might get away from the rest of this field and the only speed.
(1) Lolanita – Was competitive at this level in last and gets an upgrade in jockeys.
Race 3
(5) Tula – Sometimes you just have to take what the races give you and move on, another short price horse here, has been competitive in the open maiden and now drops to the claiming ranks, Motion also has good numbers with this move.
(3) Ask Stacy – Beaten favorite at this level in last, better post today and should be part of the early pace.
(1) Sally Dangles – Another Motion filly dropping to claiming, has been stuck out in the 10 post in previous 2 races now gets a better inside draw.
Race 4
(7) Talking Point – Some racing trouble in both races after returning from 6 months off, 3rd off layoff and a race close to previous form would get the job done here.
(2) Five Grand – Took some money in debut at this level, lost some chance at start when bumped around losing position, raced wide thru turn.
(3) I’m a Catman – 0/18 Maiden plodder type will probably appreciate the extra distance.
Race 5
(9) Heart in Hand – In a race with very little early pace Heart might be lose on an easy lead. Has ran several races that should be good enough at this level.
(1) Im Chillin – Best races have came on this Tampa turf course, gets a better inside draw today and in a well matched group ground loss might be the difference in this race.
(4) Whistle Me Home – Gets back on the turf again just not sure there is enough pace in here to help the late kick.
Race 6
(1) Schott – With the jockey switch to Morales and the inside post they might hustle this one out of the gate to the lead, best races have come when he is able to get the lead.
(4) Half Ton of Fun – Can’t seem to find the winner’s circle but 2nd or 3rd in last 6 tries here, very consistent.
(6) My Charming Clyde – This 12 year old just passed the 500K mark in earnings, hasn’t been good enough to win lately but is consistent and always gives a good effort.
Race 7
(1) Queen of the Party – With the inside draw here and very little other early pace in the race should be able to secure the lead going into first turn. Has 3 wins on this course.
(5) Speeding Starlet – Best distance and surface, barn having a nice meet.
(6) Sugar Cane Girl – Does her best running late but more minor awards than victories lately.
Race 8
(4) Rattlesnakerose – Lightly raced 4yr old filly has a nice improving pattern and also coming off 2 victories, will probably have a little more company up front today though.
(9) Northern Wind – Another one with some good early foot, the last on turf was poor but seems to prefer dirt.
(6) Twice Around – Filly showed some talent at 2-3, 2nd off a long layoff.
Race 9
(9) Breakfast Pond – Lightly raced filly has been competitive in better fields
(1) Meetmeonline – Stretches back out after a poor effort at 5f, gets trainer switch to Bennett.
(6) Red Curls – Career 5 year old maiden, just didn’t pan out for some reason, began in tough maiden races at Saratoga and Belmont.
Race 10
(4) Elle Jo – In a confusing last race I will take a shot with the 15/1 ML Elle Jo, half races have been on synthetic but dirt tries weren’t terrible and sometimes they improve on the second go around with dirt tries. Gets a drop in class also.
(6) Right on By – Running style suited for 7f just doesn’t like to win much, lots of in money finishes.
(1) Rapid Route – Consistent type runner, just hasn’t been good enough to win more than once.
