SA 2/1
Third consecutive profitable week (ROI on top pick to win only) showing profit of +$1.60 bringing meet toast to +$23.60!
Race 1) #6 Tammy’s Window takes a big drop
In class today. I like the fact that she’s been closing nicely at the same distance against much tougher. Rosario aboard is a plus. #1 Indypendent Duty has plenty enough talent to beat this field but the only question is if the last effort will be replicated. If so, watch out!
Race 2) #1 Lindante finally gets back to the trio of class, surface, and distance and could take advantage of the opportunity. Has been improving and I expect a big effort. #6 and #7 for exotics and horizontals.
Race 3) If you’re looking for a single, look no further. #1 Rijeka looks poised to make a statement today. Prat and Baltas are dangerous… and that’s before they team up with an absolute MONSTER!
Race 4) Tough little maiden claiming race here but I think #2 Captain Buzzkill fits right in. Have to believe there’s a reason he’s being entered in on dirt again. I expect a lot from this entry.
Race 5) Seems like a lot of surface/improvement plays today but they’re out in full force! #2 Harmony Victory tried the fast dirt for the first time last out and LOVED it. I expect an improvement here and think she will just beat out #6 Queen Bee to You in the final strides.
Race 6) It’s a toss up for me here between the #1 Thanks and the #7 Queen of the Tracks. Going to have to take the 7 because the distance will fit a bit better but my biggest piece of advice in this race is to stay away from the short price on #5 True Validity
Race 7) Strong race here on the grass but I’m going to give the nod to #2 Caverndchipmunks who I almost didn’t select in fear of typing the name out. Jokes aside, her debut grass run in France was stellar and I think it will translate well to a mile in Arcadia.
Race 8) HELLOOOOOO #2 Show Me Da Lute. In what looks like an ultra competitive race, I think this one can take them gate to wire. I don’t usually take the FTG too seriously but being second off of it with Baffert just looks like profit on the form. Like I said earlier, looks ultra competitive but don’t think the class is as strong as others might think.
Race 9) My first pass on a race since writing with The Daily Gallop. Just really don’t like this night cap.
