Race 1: CLAIMING $5,000 One Mile Picks: 4-5-7
Chief Tarhe (#4): Finished in the superfecta in four straight races that also include two wins. He has good gate speed and can split between foes. He will have to stay close but can get it done at a good price.

Top Prospect (#5): In the superfecta in five straight races and won at the $8,000 level two starts back. He drops back to same level he lost by  nose in last time. He will get a lot of pace up front and should have class to be tough.

Cause He’s Western (#7): Won in his last start in very game fashion. Lost the lead and came back to win.Four of his six wins came at this distance, Beyer numbers are among the best of the group.

Race 2: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $25,000       One mile  Picks: 4–7-5
Oxhilirating (#4): First or second in all three starts and now goes one mile for the first time. This is a distance that she will like. Add first time lasix and the leading rider and she has a great chance.

Turning Machine (#7): Drops to $25,000 level and from the outside post, will get pace to chase. Trainer is 21% in dirt routes and should appreciate the class drop.

Toma (#5): A first and third since being transferred to Mark Reid. This filly has good speed and can also rate. Going back to the mile, trainer is 21% in sprint to routes. Should appreciate the give in the ground.

Race 3: ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING $50,000  Six Furlongs  Picks: 3–5-4

Mesotherm (#3): Drops back to allowance company after a tough trip in a stakes race two months ago. His last three wins came at a combined 14 lengths. Trainer is going strong right now and this horse has the class to get it done. Must use.

Irish Colonel (#5): Beyers 80 or higher in 10 straight races. This horse is facing perhaps the weakest field in a long time. Faced multiple graded stakes winners in the past, today, not so much. Good chance.

Two Charley’s (#4): First time gelding should help him be more calm and mature today. Has posted good workout coming in and a good pace will help his chances.

Race 4: MAIDEN CLAIMING $25,000 One Mile  Picks: 4-2-7
Weekend Flyer (#4): Goes up to the one mile distance for the first time, and pedigree suggests she should love it. Was caught on the wire last time and gets Eclipse Award winner Weston Hamilton.

In Class (#2): Makes career debut today, where the trainer is 20% in maiden claiming and 20% in routes. Good workout pattern coming in. This horse has the inside and a good chance.

Fairy Wish (#7): Goes back to the mile and will get pace to chase. Longshot look.

Race 5: Claiming $5,000 One mile  Picks: 5-7-8

Floating By (#5): Drops to the lowest level claimer in her career. Trainer is 23% as the beaten favorite and 21% in claiming races. Has good speed and needs it to beat this group. Good chance.

Tiger Eyes (#7): Winner if her last start at this distance and this level. She will be up close early and come running late. Trainer is 14% with last out winners.

Doinwhatshelikes (#8): Last time she was at the $5,000 level, she won by a neck. She runs her best races at this level and has five wins at this distance. Must use.

Race 6: MAIDEN CLAIMING $16,000 – $14,000 Six Furlongs Picks: 3-5-7
Eliav (#3): Ships in from New York where trainer is 17% shipping and 21% in dirt starts. His lone start at Laurel was a second place finish on debut. Good jockey/trainer combination makes for a big play here.

Belmont Ride (#5): Drops from $25,000 to $16,000 and she gets a good pace to run into. The class drop and the weaker field could help her chances.
Blue Danube (#7): Drops to $16,000 for the first time and she will come from off the pace. Trainer is 23% in route to sprint races. Good chance.

Race 7: Allowance $42,000    Six Furlongs  Picks: 2-1-6
Cilantro (#2): Returns to Laurel better fit and equipped, as she will get blinkers on for the firs time. Trainer is 15% with first time blinkers. She will be mid pack and will get a good pace, she drops in distance and should help her. Must use.

Bells Irish Fancy (#1): In the superfecta in six straight race, including two wins. She has the speed and the inside rail. Trainer is 23% with beaten favorites. Good chance.

Hot Friesia (#6): Good beyer numbers and drop in class will help her chances. She has to get a god pace but has a nice closing kick that will help.

Race 8: MAIDEN CLAIMING $50,000 – $40,000 Six Furlongs  Picks: 3-6-4

Bullets Child (#3): Was second on debit and moves up in class. Trainer is 33% when moving up two classes. She will be the speed and there are not a lot of closers in here. She could go coast to coast. Must use.

Studio B (#6): Ships in from Canada and moves up two classes, where trainer is 11%. Has a dirt pedigree so the switch in surface should be no problem. Solid run last time will help her in here.

Railmaster (#4): One of the most experienced in the field and most consistent. She has superfecta finishes in seven of her nine races. Sh will be mid pack and come with a late run. Good beyers will help her chances.
