Gulfstream Park Racing Analysis — Saturday, March 23, 2019, by Ivan Lopez

Penultimate Saturday for the Gulfstream Park Winter Meeting, with thirteen races to be run. The Grade III Hutchinson is the feature for today, for three year old sprinters. Let’s go to the selections:

1st: Oh Danny Bear (7), Shangai Go Go (1), Totono (2)

2nd: Belgrano (2), Clear for Action (6), Get the Facts (3)

3rd: Bright Venezuelan (6), Queen Roller (2), First Distinction (4)

4th: Gilded Warrior (9), Golden Decision (3), Areyoutalkntome (10

5th: Glory of Florida (6), Souper Stonehenge (5), Amnesty (1)

6th: Getting Warmer (4), Smokin Deb (2), Brunette Princess (5)

7th: Ding Dong Ditch (7), Silver Beach (11), Cape Desiderato (4)

8th: North Palm Beach (3), Sacrifice (8), Entrez Encore (2)

9th: Mr Mc Fadden (6), Fightingirishtabit (8), Mass Approval (3)

10th: Jennieonthebeach (6), Shall Return (7), Quick Point (3)

11th: Appealing Briefs (6), Grand Journey (1), Themanbehindtheman (4)

12th: Federal Case (2), Lutsky (5), In the Loop (1)

13th: Wheeler Forty Five (4), Hijacker (3), Majestic Hero (5)

Best Bet:

Federal Case (2) in the 12th. Much easier group to work with and the race should come to him with all the speed signed in. Castellano stays aboard.

Price Plays:

North Pam Beach (3) in the 8th: Dropping from straight MSW to 16 maiden claimers, trainer Hess puts blinkers on him and that five furlong debut should serve him well going a mile now.

Wheeler Forty Five (4) in the 13th. Third race with trainer Kurtinecz (30% $4.39 ROI) and now Paco Lopez hops on board, coming from a much better post now.
