Gulfstream 1-4-19
Race 1:
8-5…. #8 Come On Venezuela- has run 3 solid races in a row. Paco aboard this time might be the trick to get him that photo. #5 Indazone- 2nd start with trainer, dropping and showed speed in Kentucky on the turf. If he breaks as well he could wire.
Race 2:
1 #1 Jamaican Magician- dropping where trainer wins at 17%. Bad start last race but should enjoy the rail today and an alert break might be good enough to beat this bad group.
Race 3:
6…. #6 Hello Juliet- is another single for me. Perfectly drawn on the outside, likes GP and should be able to sit and pounce.
Race 4:
4-2…. #4 Tathqeef- has been working down in FL for 2 months and just lays over this field. If he runs any of his good NY races here he will destroy this field. #2 Mr. Pinocchio- if the top choice fails looking for this gelding to get his nose up at the wire. Has shown a nice closing kick now and then and worth a shot at the 15-1 ml.
Race 5:
8-6….. #8 Talking Zip- back to dirt and had a bullet work on 12-22, dropping class and might enjoy GP. #6 Quenienny- showed speed at CD, working ok and maybe will clear and be gone.
Race 6:
7-1-8…. #7 Scam- is 3rd off and steadied in last race. This 9yo can win and maybe forgotten a tad at the windows with the 2 super trainers in the race. #1 He’s Got Talent- Trainer has a crazy 56% win and 89% in the $ dropping off the win. Have to use at a short price. #8 Drink in my Hand- ran well last year on the GP dirt and is doing a similar layoff this year from Woodbine poly to GP dirt again.
Race 7:
13…. #13 Musical Lute- Hoping this filly draws in. Dropping in class and ready to fire and using as a single.
Race 8:
PASS… Really tough race where I can’t find anyone to lean on so punching the ALL button in the multi-wagers.
Race 9:
6-10…. This race looks prime for a bomb to me. #6 Sanfilipo- 3rd off likes GP and the distance. Lots of speed to set up kick and will look for him coming late as a price. #10 Regal Force- is another bomb to use. Might finally wake up after 3 duds in a row.
Race 10:
12-5…. #12 Veldt- Drawn .outside, bullet work since last start and has shown that she can break and just might wire this field at a very nice price. #5 Spiced Rum Punch- is what I might order at Happy Hour if I can string a few winners together. Proven over turf and Marcus Vitali is due for his luck to change and see the winner’s circle more often. Back to turf and ready to run.
Good Luck to All
