Race 1 – 5.5F CLM 3,200

#4 Many Moods (7/5) comes in for Jonathan Wong first off the claim (30%). Abel Cedillo will send to the front.

#1 Mo Dinero (8/5) was an impressive winner last out for trainer Howey Quinn. Frank Alvarado should have this one just off a nice pace set up.

#3 Roman Rocket (4/1) drops in class and is cutting back in distance from 1 mile to 5.5F. Could flash a little speed but Many Moods may be quicker.

Race 2 – 6F ALW 50,000

#5 Returray (5/2) finished 2nd last out at this level after rallying late. Gets the extra half furlong and leading rider Juan Hernandez today.

#3 Slam Dunk Sermon (9/5) was an impressive maiden winner last out. Has good early speed and will try to get away.

#4 Ecologist (2/1) was an impressive long shot winner in the debut. Hugo Herrera should have this one rolling late.

Race 3 – 5.5F Maiden CLM 12,500

#2 Never Think Twice (5/2) is dropping in class and making the 2nd start off the layoff. Has a bullet work (1 of 62) and good early speed. Billy Antongeorgi should be going straight to the front.

#4 Beer Thirst (9/5) is a first time starter for trainer Tim Yakteen and rider Juan Hernandez. Has a few sharp works at Santa Anita leading up to the debut.

#7 Oasis (7/2) is dropping in for the tag for the first time. Should improve 2nd start off the layoff and first time blinkers.

Race 4 – 8F CLM 8,000

#4 Gray Gem (9/5) has consecutive 2nd place finishes as a beaten favorite. Abel Cedillo jumps aboard and should have this one up close for trainer Jonathan Wong.

#3 King Eddie (4/1) was a close 3rd as a beaten favorite last out. Rico Gonzalez should have this one in a good spot stretching out.

#1 Lifeline (2/1) ships in from Southern California for trainer John Sadler and Juan Hernandez gets aboard. Should improve 2nd start off the layoff and with the big drop in class, but has never raced on synthetic.

Race 5 – 8F Maiden CLM 8,000

#3 La Guapa Velos (7/5) is a maiden with 6 2nd place finishes in 12 starts. Dropping in class for trainer Andy Mathis and leading rider Juan Hernandez aboard. The one to beat.

#5 Bank of Many (6/1) drops in class after finishing 2nd to a runaway winner last out.

#4 Doubelievenmagic (2/1) makes a big drop in class and 2nd start off a nearly 2 year layoff. One of two Mathis runners in here.

3-5-4

Race 6 – 8F ALW 50,000

#6 Electoral (8/5) has been winless but in the money the last 6 starts, all under similar conditions. Was forced 5 wide last out finishing 3rd beaten two lengths. Hernandez/Wong combo have 7 wins in their last 15 starts including five 2nd place finishes.

#1 Irrefutable (2/1) comes in with a solid work and has good early speed. Finished behind Electoral last out. Will try to get away up front but may have some company.

#2 Imperator (7/2) comes in off a 3rd place finish last out. Stepping up in class but could fit here.

Race 7 – 5.5F Maiden 30,000

#4 May Song (2/1) finished 3rd last out being passed late by Illapawnie. Has good early speed and cutting back a half furlong should help.

#5 Check Out (6/1) has two straight 2nd place finishes against similar company. Has not raced since September but Juan Hernandez rides.

#2 Illapawnie (9/5) was 2nd against similar last out. Frank Alvarado should have this one rolling late.

Race 8 – 6F CLM 5,000

#2 Hot’n Notty (2/1) comes in for Jonathan Wong first start off the claim (30%). In the money the last 7 starts including 2nd at this level last out. Cedillo should have this one rolling late.

#1 Power Times Two (5/1) comes in off a win last out, has good early speed and expect to be sent from the inside post. Won last two races with Silvio Amador aboard.

#7 Cash Money (12/1) also comes off a win last out. Has a good work coming in but is stepping up in class. Like at a price.
