1- 6 Furlongs. Clm 16000n2L Purse $28,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES.

1-2-4

Top pick Cause I Said So just won his maiden in good form, can be a light bulb angle example. Brilliant Brooks can be the speed of the speed and sending him south form FL is a good sign. Shandian completes, won his maiden in an off the turf affair, has to step up in my opinion.

2 – 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) ™Alw 50000s Purse $55,000 INNER TURF (UP TO $9,570 NYSBFOA) FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD

5-9-1/1A

The top two picks loom large in here, both have been running against the very improved Robin Sparkles. Princess Fawzia will benefit from Irad’s style of riding, probably taking her back from the speed. The entry looks like a good back up if you get passed the top picks.

3 – 7 Furlongs. Mdn 80k Purse $80,000 (UP TO $13,920 NYSBFOA) FOR MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD.

6-4-1A

If The Sound runs anything close to what he showed in his debut, the rest will be running for second. He should be dictating terms from the start. Dreams of Tomorrow returns to the main track after a solid try on grass. Dangerous on the cutback. Risk Profile is running in his third after a long layoff. I expect an improved effort on his part.

4 – 1 Mile. (Turf) Alw 82000n1x Purse $82,000 (UP TO $14,268 NYSBFOA) FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD

11-7-10

Please spread if you can in this race. Graded on a Curve has been consistent in these groups and the race shape benefits him. Old Dominion receives a sizable jockey upgrade and the groups he has been facing are comparable to these. Willing to Speed can be the upset in here, cutting back from ten panels.

5 – 7 Furlongs. ™Mdn 80k Purse $80,000 (UP TO $13,920 NYSBFOA) FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES TWO YEARS OLD.

6-3-2

I like first time starter Journeytothemoon, debuting here for trainer Michael Trombetta, a fixture in Maryland. Works are good enough and there are no world beaters here. Liam’s Missy and White Frost both ran creditably in their debut, and both can take a step forward in here.

6 – 1½ Mile. (Turf) ™ZagoraB80K Zagora S. Purse $80,000 FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD.

8-1-5

I am going to take a shot here with Cambeliza, who ran very nice against Blame Debbie, who then won a Grade III. She should relish the mile and a half trip. Beau Belle has been running against much better fillies and has the always important rail in these long journeys. Olympic Games disappointed last time out, but she ran much better at Big Sandy. Irad doesn’t relinquish the ride.

7 – 6½ Furlongs. ‘Alw 72000n1x Purse $72,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD FOALED IN NEW YORK STATE

4-6-9

Top pick comes back from an eight month layoff with two bullet works in preparation. Pletcher hits at a 29% rate 90 + days away. Riken is very fast and he always give s a good account of himself. He is slowly improving on his staying power. South Africa won his maiden in his most recent, needs to step up but with only four races lifetime, it is a possibility.

8 – 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) AwadB80K Awad S. Purse $80,000 INNER TURF FOR TWO-YEAR-OLDS.

12-5-2

Extremely tough race to handicap. If we go by races, Wooton Asset is the first tone to consider, but he draws poorly in this mile and a sixteenth. The pace of the race should be to his liking. Kidnapped had a rough start last time out, despite of this, he lost by just over a length over the yielding grass. Irad will do the honors today. Catman draws very nicely and he beat my top picks last time out. 8/1 is a very enticing ML.

9 – 7 Furlongs. BoldRlrH-G3 Bold Ruler H. Grade III. Purse $100,000 A HANDICAP FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD.

2-1-6

Share the Ride looks to have a sizable pace advantage in this graded stakes. Manny Franco should be putting him on the lead and see how he handles the extra furlong. Mihos goes second time out after the layoff, but it is interesting that Franco elects to ride my top pick for a low percentage trainer. Phat Man needs pace to run at, I am not sure he will get it. If he gets it, he will be tough down the stretch,

10 – 1 Mile. (Turf) ™‘MC 40000 Purse $43,000 FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD FOALED IN NEW YORK STATE

10-11-12

Another puzzle to handicap. I will go with the two fillies that drop from MSW. Twice a Lady should be much fitter second time out, and Irad stays for the finale. Spread generously here.
