Race one
3-7-5
3- ran a great race last time at this lower level looking for him to lay just off the early cheap speed and content down the stretch. Should get a price of at least 4-1.
7- dropping big time for this run , Has had some nice workouts since the last race should enjoy this class.
5- also drops for this race trainer has good numbers second off layoff looking for a forward run as it takes his second try at the poly.
Race 2
6-2-3
6- what a bunch of claimers in this race. This former people of Asmussen has some very average Races but looks good against the rest. Raced well first time blinkers and looking for progress.
2- five-year-old Mayor drops down big time. Does show some stronger Races on the turf and should be OK with the distance.
3- A longshot play here drop town last time to the bottom level and didn’t have a bad race. Race line shows early steady might like the at a distance and good for a long shot play in the tri’s.
Race 3
7-6-9
7- if you look closely at the lines this horse has only had one bad race in a year. Back in the spot and a distance where he should do well you might not get a price for the horse will be there at the end.
6- A bit of a price here but this horse loves Turfway. A great horse to throw in the tri’s.
9- really like this horse coming from the outside has done well at this level seems to like Turfway. One of my concerns is that Ouzts has not gotten off to a strong start.
Race 4
9-5-2
9- Nice betting race here Bermudez goes to the nine over the three even though he romped by nine links last time good numbers from the trainer and he loves Turfway should get a good price.
5- another gelding that should get a good price. This 10-year-old just loves Turfway and the distance.
2- this five-year-old showed interest in the last eight races and there is no reason why he shouldn’t off the claim. The trainer is on fire at the current meet as well as the jock.
Race 5
10-12-7
10- stepped up to this level last out and raised very well as he was caught late. Just loves Turfway and the distance.
12- almost took this long shot to win it all my theory is he’ll jump the lead and go as far as he can he may never get caught.
7- logic play here he has one for one at Turfway and five for eight at the distance, the step up in class is rather small and he’s been bet heavily his last two races.
Race 6
5-4-3
5- this horse has been in a lot of barns over the last year. The seven-year-old makes his first appearance since February 2018. Look to the bottom with the trainer stats , this trainer is two for three with first time horses and one for three with layoffs over 180 days and also note that he is one for one with a huge payoff on synthetic. You have to love those angles.
4- this always consistent six-year-old has gotten checks and his last 15 is never out of it and should do well in this race.
3- something definitely went wrong in the last raise for this horse show some great speed in prayer Races and looking for this horse to rebound tonight look for early speed. Make get loose on the lead.
Race 7
3-4-6
3-Really like this four year-old and should get a very good price. Back in the Hancock barn this Filly loves the distance and should get a jump on the field.
4- is a natural pick and had a nice win last time here at Turfway the horse loves the distance and gets a 20% rider.
6- comes in in good shape and is Sean strength in the last five races. Has become more of a come from behind sprinter and may do well in this tilt if the speed stops.
Race 8
2-7-10
2- call me crazy but I love this horse drops down big time and ships in from my home track of Woodbine. In the money three for three at the distance that usually goes further so stamina will not be a problem.
7- not really sure what happened last time is the favorite. Drops down to the bottom after a dismal start. Trainer and rider have done well early in this meet and I’m looking for this wars to bounce back.
10- she has shown consistency in the last two races with this writer looking for the same today. The jock and trainer have very low percentages and this is a big drawback especially from this post.
